Off grid cabin for 2 in the Langkloof

A mountain retreat for artists, lovers, writers, gardeners, hikers, birders, farmers, adventurers and all in pursuit of peace and beauty. Please note: 4x4 or capable high clearance vehicle required. Getting here is part of the adventure! The farm is only 5km off the R62 but this is a gravel mountain pass that requires the right vehicle. If you are travelling in a normal car or small SUV please reach out to make alternative arrangements for this last part of your journey.

Ploverfield Farm Cottage

Situated on a macadamia farm in the heart of the beautiful Crags. Just 1.2km off the N2, no dust roads. 20min's away from Plettenberg Bay and Natures Valley. 3 world class wine farms just 5 min's away. Pristine beaches a stone throw away. Sleeps 2 adults and there is a sleeper couch for 2 young children. Braai facilities, MWO and fridge. Perfect night or 2 over pit stop. The Crags Superette and restaurant is just 5 minutes away plus take-aways 10minutes away.

Olive Cottage

Leave the world behind and follow a scenic 36km gravel road from Kareedouw into the mountains, where this working sheep and cattle farm rests peacefully in a beautiful valley. The original 1890 homestead cottage is a place to reconnect—with nature, family and each other. Wander along the river, hike to the waterfall, or simply slow down together. As night falls, soak in the hot tub beneath a blanket of stars. A magical escape for families and couples alike.

Rustic cabin on stilts

Relax with the whole family at this rustic stilted cabin with spectacular views. It has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. The main room has a double bed plus the option to place a single bed mattress on the floor for a 5th person. The second room has 2 single beds making the cabin ideal for families. Please note: this is a rustic cabin on a working farm, ideal for guests who enjoy an authentic countryside experience rather than a luxury retreat.

Cloud Cottage

Cloud Cottage is located on Voogsekraal estate. The estate stretches along the mountainous and truly breathtaking Prince Alfred Pass. The estate forms part of the Outeniqua Mountains. This means exquisite views, waterfalls and walks.  The cottage is nestled into the hillside, amidst rockery and fynbos. With no neighbouring farms, cell reception, nor electricity, one is able to experience a true getaway.

Orchard View Cottage, Twee Riviere

This spacious, free-standing cottage in TWEE RIVIERE village, enjoys a restful, scenic position on the tree-rich campus grounds of The South African Institute for Heritage Science - home of the popular Belfry Kitchen restaurant! (Power for lights & water are backed up, and not subject to load shedding)

Tree House

An authentic adult tree house built into the bows of a growing rooi karee adult tree (rhuslancea). The dwelling is made of a variety of SA wood varieties and shaped around the stem and branches, allowing humans to live functionally within its arms

Suikerbossie Mountain Cabin

Soak up the peace and quietness while enjoying the true beauty that nature has to offer. The cabin was completed just before the lockdown. The building of the cabin was started by my husband and completed only 2 years later in remembrance of him.
