Ou Doc's Quirky house in Outeniqua Mountains

This unique and quirky little house has a charm of its own. Nestled between the beautiful langkloof mountains at the foot of the Prince Alfreds Pass(longest past in its original state in South Africa) . This is a magical Breakaway just an hour’s drive from the Karoo or the coast. The Main bedroom is cozy and fitted with a double bed and a fireplace, a lounge area in the middle with lazy couches to sit and read a book on and the other bedroom which has 2 stack beds in and can sleep 4 people.

20 Good Summers Farm: Honey Room (Sleeps 2)

We are an off the grid almond & wine farm located in the beautiful area of The Crags, in the heart of Plett's wine region. We grow our own veggies, have bee hives and are within walking distance of Kay & Monty wedding venue. The ensuite units all offer tea and coffee facilities. Braai packs, breakfast and dinners - prepared with local, fresh, organic produce most of it grown within 5km's - may be booked in advance. Honey Room sleeps max 2 adults. There are many farm experiences on offer.

Charming Cottage in the Mountains

You can reach us on a 36 km stretch of scenic gravel road to come and enjoy the beauty and sounds of nature while staying in this unique off the grid place in the Kouga Baviaans mountain wilderness area. For winter the cottage is equipped with electric blankets, a gas heater as well as an indoor fireplace with a good supply of wood and more available to buy should you run out. The displayed miimum price apply to the first two guests and an additional fee per person from the 3rd guest

Forest Glamping

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Large safari style tents situated on a raised deck with views of the forest. The tent has two single beds, chairs, power points and a deck for you to lounge on. You have access to 3 choices of bathrooms, some with outdoor showers and another with a bathtub boasting forest views. Use our clean and well equipped communal kitchen as well as braai areas, a bar, a plunge pool/hot tub, plus some beautiful walks into the forests and rivers.

Cloud Cottage is located on Voogsekraal estate. The estate stretches along the mountainous and truly breathtaking Prince Alfred Pass. The estate forms part of the Outeniqua Mountains. This means exquisite views, waterfalls and walks.  The cottage is nestled into the hillside, amidst rockery and fynbos. With no neighbouring farms, cell reception, nor electricity, one is able to experience a true getaway.

Very quiet, private and safe, completely away from any hustle and bustle. This gem is situated just 1,5km out of town in Uniondale along a 300m river bank gravel road easily driveable by any vehicle.

Tree House

An authentic adult tree house built into the bows of a growing rooi karee adult tree (rhuslancea). The dwelling is made of a variety of SA wood varieties and shaped around the stem and branches, allowing humans to live functionally within its arms

Suikerbossie Mountain Cabin

Soak up the peace and quietness while enjoying the true beauty that nature has to offer. The cabin was completed just before the lockdown. The building of the cabin was started by my husband and completed only 2 years later in remembrance of him.
