We stayed for a weekend to visit Busch Gardens. Property was great, Bianka was very responsive and the unit we had was extremely spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again, lots to do at this resort and it felt like a neighborhood rather than resort.

This house was perfect for our extended family to stay on our trip to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. There were 8 of us — 2 grandparents, mother & father with 3 kids — 9-year old boy twins and a 12-year-old girl, along with a single aunt. The first floor master was perfect for the grandparents. Mom and Dad with the 3 kids could all be upstairs with the boys in the bunk room and the girl on the pull-out sleeper in the study. The arcade room and pool table were fantastic for the kids. The house was clean but had a “lived in” feel which we appreciated because we didn’t feel like we had to “walk on eggshells.”

Serene Sauna Retreat + Chefs Kitchen + Luxury Bath

This home was the perfect fit for our large group of 14. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and the place was very accommodating! Larkin was very responsive and helped out immediately with any questions we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and blankets, dishes, etc. for our entire group. The location is a small quaint town. The Blue Crab down the street had some delicious food but other than that there isn’t much around so you definitely need to hit up the store. The Food Lion is less than 10min away for groceries. Williamsburg is 30min away and Yorktown about 45min away- we visited both towns to explore. Overall a marvelous stay!

Back Bay Getaway Beach Retreat

Darin’s place is a perfect beach-get away. I could hear the waves crashing on the beach from the deck in the mornings. There is absolutely everything one could need for a day at the beach - towels, chairs, boogie boards, boats, sand toys and umbrellas. I was in Virginia Beach to help my mom with a bunch of out of town relatives. It was one of the Neptune Festival weekends and Darin’s place was close to my mom’s and the resort area. It is a great location - close to so many things but off the beaten path. The beach at Sandbridge is quiet and peaceful and just a block from Darin’s place. The unit has everything one would need and the bed was comfortable which was is a concern when I travel since I’ve had four back surgeries. Clear instructions on accessing and using any of the equipment. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to return and spend more time on the beach.

Rachel’s place was one of the reasons why our spring break was so amazing this year. As soon as you enter the house you notice the cozy beach vibe theme. The house is nicely organized and put together. The game room was a fun addition as well. The backyard is well kept with the beautiful green grass cut and edged. The gazebo area has a fire pit and hot tub. Let me tell you… such an amazing vibe in the back yard. We had so much fun listening to music and making smores all night! They thought of everything here! There’s an actual sauna in the master bedroom. I was bummed because we forgot our wireless speaker at home, but guess what… they have one available for you to use and fully charged! Let’s talk about the furniture. They actually put money into the furniture here. The couch was huge and cozy. The beds were not stiff at all. In fact my kids bragged about how comfortable their bed was and how they couldn’t wait to hit the hay that night! This place is worth every penny.

The Laughing King Retreat Honeymoon Island Cottage

The Laughing King (and the Honeymoon Island Cottage in particular) were fantastic! A wonderful quick getaway from DC for couples. The property is gorgeous - a farm with a historic old house that is the main lodge, surrounded by hundred-year-old oak trees, a standalone cottage (that we stayed in for 3 nights), open fields, a saltwater pool, and private beach with dock and a boat and SUPs for guest use. MJ serves up gourmet breakfasts (eggs Benedict, avocado toast, French toast, quiche, etc. over the course of our stay) + coffee in the morning and also dished out recommendations on local spots to visit. 100% will be back!

We had a great stay here. The location was perfect. Easy walk to the beach and a fun little “neighborhood” to walk around in. Being along a small body of water was so nice and we enjoyed watching the sun set over it. John was very responsive to the two questions I had while we were there, so I got my answers quickly. We’ll definitely book with him again if we are back in the area!

Dylan communicated quickly and thoroughly even with a last minute reservation. We didn't have any issues that needed to be addressed. The place fit my family of seven very well. Lots of space with 3 bedrooms and 2 pull-out couches. The location was very nice, being close to all of the popular destinations in the area. The pools were very busy and could be cleaned better, but the kids loved the arcade and movie theater. The resort really wants to sell a timeshare to you, but I just stuck to my guns. We would have no issue staying again.

We really loved our time at Wyndham Kingsgate. The rooms have been recently updated and the amenities were great for kids. Super convenient location next to tons of restaurants and just a short drive to colonial Williamsburg or Busch gardens. Our girls slept on the pullout sofa bed which was comfortable as sofa beds go! Elizabeth was responsive and helpful! We look forward to staying here again.

Poseidon - 120 Year Old Beach Cottage with Sauna

We loved everything about our stay at Poseidon! The apartment was lovely, bright and clean with a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and nice linens. The shared outdoor space is one of the nicest we've seen on a beach house - well tended wooden walkways all around, lots of nice outdoor seating, great grill lovely "beach bar" type perch to sit and look over the water. We used the sauna every night and all of the available amenities as much as possible. We highly recommend this property!

Dylan was very helpful with making sure my request to be on the first floor with a ramp was met for my 87 year old grandmother. He responded back quickly and was super nice. Would definitely go back. My family loved it there it was so much to do. Everything was in walking distance.

Our stay at the Wyndham resort in Williamsburg was wonderful! We had adjoining one and two bedroom condos which suited our group perfectly. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well stocked, and the resort activities exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of equipment available to borrow. We spent one day at Busch Gardens, one day at the resort, and one day at Water Country which made for a perfect balance of activity and relaxation! Dylan was friendly, helpful, and always responded to any questions and inquiries. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future!

We will stay here again. We usually stay with family but we took our grand daughter for a staycation. She thought the home was so fancy and she got her own room and bathroom. She was over the moon. We loved going to the arcade with her, mini golf, swimming and pickle ball. We didn't get to it all so we will be back. The area is incredibley safe and clean.

Elizabeth's place was fantastic!!! Very clean and well-equipped. The people at check-in were great and VERY friendly. The resort has tons to do. Some of the activity options were not open due to being off-season, but it is a great place for families to come in the summer. We were there for a "girl's weekend", and the accommodations were beyond our expectations. We all agreed to coming back again together and with our own families in the future. Would highly recommend!!!!

The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, and well kept. The kids loved the heated pools and activities. Communication with Robert was great. We had a bit of a delay at check-in and weren't able to get into the room until 6 PM. Other than that, it was a great stay. Would definitely stay again.

Historic Virginia Charm! 3 Bedroom w/Loft!

We greatly enjoyed our stayin Williamsburg! The condo was laid out perfectly for our family and had extra space! Our small grandson's thought their 3rd floor loft was special for them. We needed the two king beds and spacious bathrooms. Everything was exceptionally clean and the hostess was very very helpful. We will definitely stay there again. My son-in-law stayed there in high school, with my daughter about eight years ago, and this last trip with my husband and I and his wife and three children. I booked this and did not know he had stayed there before until we arrived. The restuarant was handy when we were too tired to go out. The food was very good. Alecia Wagoner

We had a wonderful getaway at this vacation home! It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature, with plenty of cute shops and charming spots to explore nearby. The house itself was very comfortable and well-suited for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.
