Snuggle up on the patio for evening relaxation, or drink coffee while you spot the native birds. Far enough away from town, but close enough to drive 5min for delicious choices in local restaurants, wineries and taprooms. Also close by 10/15mins are activities like golf, horseback riding, hiking, waterfalls, swimming, festivals, & escape rooms.

Cozy Camper

Cozy camper in a country setting. Hike in the forest of trees on property or just watch the ponies play in the pasture. Enjoy grilling with all the amenities you need. We also include coffee pods, basic condiments, pancake mix to make pancakes or waffles. TV and private wifi. There are some kids coloring books and a few games. Comfortable queen bed, couch folds out into a full size bed, and table also can make into a twin bed if needed.

About a 1-hour drive from Portland on the base of Mount Hood, Zigzag Mountain Farm offers the perfect escape from the city with 50 acres of meadows and forest, bordering thousands of acres of national forest. The farm is home to an organic garden, campfire circle, picnic area, a city bus with a campers' kitchen, outdoor seating area with BBQ, kids play structure, hiking trails and a year-round creek.

Our tiny home started life as a commuter bus in Manchester, England, in 1953, then did stints in San Francisco and Mt. St. Helens before finding a home as the Grilled Cheese Grill in Portland. Now it’s been reimagined as a mid century modern-inspired tiny home, with whimsical painting details from one of its former lives and fresh new handmade details that make it a cozy, inspiring stay.
