We had an absolutely lovely night at the carriage house! Hilary and Priscilla were great hosts, very responsive and accommodating. It was such a beautiful home, well equipped with thoughtful amenities, an we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower and hot tub! Thank you for a wonderful stay, highly recommend!

We really appreciated the quiet and cleanliness of the place. It felt home-y and easy to relax. Home away from home!

This was an absolutely perfect river cottage! Every single detail was pristine! The house was beautiful, well stocked, and very comfortable. The river is really just beyond the fence and is beautiful! I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet get away!

We had so much fun at this location. So peaceful and relaxing We did take our 3 young children with us and they had an absolute blast, throwing rocks in the river, caught a few lizards and had a blast exploring. Our dog had the time of his life out there My husband and i had a nice relaxing time and great views from the bedrooms upstairs. The best was so comfortable as well, i will definitely miss that. We will be back once the river goes down a bit so we can get to enjoy that anymore. The only suggestion id have is to pack your own bottles of water, the drinking water is very slow and the amount of water our family drinks it was a trickle at the end of the day and could not fill our drinking glasses

If I only could just move in. It felt so homey. Everything we needed was there, we just had to bring the groceries we wanted. There was plenty of towels and linens. Beds were comfortable. The hot tub was just what I needed and very private. I could hear the ocean at night. Randy communicated promptly and was always very nice. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Carol was an amazing host, very responsive and offered early check-in! The home was super comfy and housed our 8 woman book club well. Really loved the quiet, the hot tub, and the short walk onto the beach. Would definitely stay again!!

Erika’s place is a great spot for our vacation family down the west coast! We stayed for two nights and we all loved it. Love how the cute alpaca came to visit by the fence in the morning and were curious about what we were doing. We have a toddler with us and he loved the room on the second floor and all the games and books. Erika was also very helpful to help us with a last minute package delivery. Thank you! Will definitely recommend it to our friends and families!

We were looking for a quirky, cozy, and unique place for a relaxing weekend and this adorable home fit that description to a t. The slanted floor and slight movement when we walked around only added to its charm. Everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was wonderful and had all of the amenities we needed. The views were spectacular! I hope to come visit again.

We had a fabulous weekend. Walked to the beach, tide pooled. Enjoyed fun, relaxed family time. The host was always pleasant, responsive and positive. We will go back if given the opportunity in a heartbeat! Thank you for sharing this special retreat.

This was our second trip to The Rocky Whale in the last six months. We love it here. For us, the location is incredible. We spend as much time on the beach possible and being able to cross the street to the dune path and be at the ocean in less than 5 minutes is incredible. Low-tide tide pools? Check. Entire groups of seals? Check. Eagles? Check. Milky Way on a clear night? Also check! We are grateful for the ability to bring our dogs and the big open space downstairs to be able to house their crates. The bed/bath/kitchen has always been clean and comfortable and when the storms come through being able to hang out in the big living space upstairs and keep ourselves entertained (tv… storm… games.. etc) has come in handy. The kitchen is well appointed. We eat in when we stay here and there is nothing we haven’t been able to handle (sometimes a little improvisation is needed!) We were never able to find the tv remote on our second trip… but there is an app for that.

Megan's cottage was extremely clean, convenient, and family friendly. We loved the little extras like a dog basket, supplies for cooking and toys for the kids. We will definitely stay here next time we visit the Oregon coast!

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at the Rockaway Cottage, especially our 2 year old who found the toys, dresses and decor of the home to be so exciting and entertaining! The cottage was clean and comfortable, especially the beds. The location was nice and quiet and the walk to the beach wasn't too bad, even for our toddler to make on her own. We didn't get to use the large deck or fire pit as much as we would have liked, but they were also great additions to the space.

Our recent stay at Chad‘s place was wonderful. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the skate park across the street as well as the park and being able to walk down to the beach. The house was fully stocked with a full kitchen and all the amenities we needed. Chad was super friendly and very responsive. We would definitely recommend this place to those traveling to Newport.

What an amazing place! This is the perfect spot to relax on the coast. Glenna's beach cottage was clean, cozy, and the view can't be beat! We loved the quiet neighborhood, easy access to Gleneden beach, Lincoln City and Depoe bay. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches that helped us and our dogs settle right in. Glenna has a whole binder of useful local info and recommendations and our dogs loved getting to play with some of the toys that were left for canine guests. We're so glad we found this stay and look forward to visiting again in the future!

The house was absolutely lovely! Clean and had everything we needed. The street traffic is a little noisy throughout the night and there isn’t an ocean view. But it is only a few minutes walk to the beach and you can still hear the waves from the house. The host is also fantastic! She made sure everything went smoothly for us. Thank you!

Quiet location! Larger living area than expected. Nicely equipped kitchen. plenty of bedding. Cozy gas fireplace kept us toasty during cold dawn hours. Ocean view on one side and an easy walk to stairs leading to the shore. A little tricky when wet, but we negotiated the last steps on rock without slipping. We spotted seals on the sandbar island and lots of wading birds, herons and egrets. Though it rained fairly hard during our early April visit, it always broke when we reached nearby ocean destinations for beachcombing. What luck! We appreciated the handy tidal chart available in the cottage, too. Enjoyed oysters and pizza at the nearby Schooners restaurant and shopped for munchables at the little grocery store one block away. Great lookouts and hiking all around. Two of us were proud to finish the difficult cottage puzzle during our two-night stay. Though there's a TV and movies, we never watched. Great cottage even in the off season. Thank you!

My family and I had a great time staying at Laura's cottage! It was super clean and cozy! We would definitely come again and recommend it to our family!

My daughter and I stayed for 5 days and didn't want to leave. I have stayed at many Airbnbs and this was the best one ever! Light filled and spacious with all the wonderful vintage touches, just the right amount of things perfectly placed. So extremely cozy with everything we possibly could need. The location was perfect, close to restaurants and coffee shops. We got up every morning and played on the vintage record player Saturday night Fever and danced. We had so much fun and cannot wait to come back one day.! Thank you!

Very cozy and adorable and the view couldn't be beat! We loved the octopus theme and accents and enjoyed the VHS collection at night. It was great being so close to the beach and when not on the beach, we enjoyed the excellent beach views from the living room and the rocking chairs on the deck. We would definitely return in the future!

Jay and Ahna’s cottage is a wonderful place to stay! It’s so cozy and comfortable. The bed is extremely comfortable. Nice big bath tub/ shower. Every thing is very clean. It’s a perfect spot very close to Rock away beach and close to Tillamook. If it’s nice out, very easy to walk to good restaurants, and store. We had a wonderful time just walking down on the little beach area, across the street. The owners are extremely responsive, and very kind and considerate. We would definitely recommend this cottage.

This place was so perfect! Such a darling place - fully appointed with everything you would need plus. Super clean and such a bonus for the outdoor space and sauna. One of the best walkable areas in Portland - cannot wait to stay again!

Susan's place was amazing! I wish we could stay there a week, but we had to leave very early in the morning 😕. The soaking tub my girlfriend LOVED, and piece of birthday cake Susan left on the table was an unexpected and very heartwarming thinking! If you're looking for an escape from the busy life at the coast, you NEED to stay here!!

Great little beach cottage close to the ocean. A great place for beach walks and whale spotting. Although an older cottage, the inside was immaculate with very comfortable furnishings. The upstairs bedroom and loft area was filled with light and I loved being able to lie in bed and see the stars and moon through the skylight. Thank you Colleen for sharing your home with us.
