The cabin is located only 5 minutes from the North Wilkesboro Speedway and 10 minutes from downtown Wilkesboro; Rooster’s Roost offers convenience and seclusion! Named after our 5-pound Pomeranian, Rooster who lives upstairs, our property is pet friendly with plenty of space to walk and enjoy the outdoors. There’s a small creek which runs along the property. West Jefferson, Boone, Moravian Falls and many ski areas are within close proximity as well! Please come enjoy this oasis in the foothills!

We are just steps to the Blue Ridge Parkway, minutes to Stone Mountain State Park, Doughton Park, New River State Park, and at the edge of the Yadkin Valley Wine District. The list of activities are endless including sitting on the deck or by the fire pit watching the view go by. That view has been said to be The best view in the Blue Ridge. This spacious 2400 sq ft home is yours while you play in one of the most beautiful areas in the country.

Private, cozy and quiet cottage in the trees - yet only about a mile from the heart of town. Cottage accommodates two adults with foldout bed for a child. Watch wildlife from your private rear deck, sit on covered front porch, or stroll the 2.6 acres of grounds. Adjacent to greenspace/parkland. Dogs allowed! (limit 2) Pet fee charged.

The quaint town of Elkin is located minutes away for dining and shopping, or go for a hike at Stone Mountain!
