The nicest wee place to stay. Made to feel exactly like home with the most comfortable beds, amazing shower and delicious breakfast! We will defo be back.

Very large but cosy bedroom and spacious bathroom. Fraser was very friendly and helpful. Location a short walk from Brora. We would definitely stay again.

Angela’s place was the perfect stop over on our way to Orkney- comfortable, clean and welcoming. We loved the walk down to the Spanish for Tapas and back up to the house vía the lighthouse. One of our favorite AirBnB’s!

The location was spot on.Exactly in the middle of the town centre. We have booked 2 rooms. Both were very neat and clean. Properly decorated. We have been welcomed by John even though we were pretty late ( 9:30 pm) . John is always with a big smile. The breakfast was awesome. Bed was super comfortable. What else we need. Thanks for hosting us.

Travelers arriving in Inverness who are here to see the Scottish Highlands...Trust me when I say that you need to get your car and drive to Dornoch and stay with Denise and Nigel. I’ve stayed in simple places and top end luxury hotels, and although I’ve certainly had wonderful hospitality extended to me, this may be the most welcome and comfortable stay I’ve ever had. I arrived nearly 12 hours late due to my flight connection being canceled, I was exhausted from a long trip, and Denise greeted me, chatted with me a bit, fixed me a snack, and helped me get settled. She knew JUST what I needed after a rather difficult trip. It was quiet and peaceful, the bed was very comfortable, the room and house tastefully decorated, and the newly finished bathroom was just lovely. I woke up to a view of grazing sheep and the Dornoch Firth after a really restful night’s sleep. Denise helped me put together the perfect day to spend in the area and it was truly delightful. I’m back for a second night as planned. Her breakfast was amazing and the thoughtful touches she provides her guests and her attention to detail will make you wish you could stay here for your entire trip. I’m so grateful I chose this place over all of the others and hope to be back again soon. Thank you so much Denise and Nigel.

A great welcome, friendly, efficient and helpful. Being local, Jackie knew so much about the area and the people, and had the insights only locals know. The house is immaculate, and our bed was one of the most comfy ever! And whoever said a continental breakfast was nit enough has never been here - a wonderful spread. Our stay here was faultless throughout, so this review comes with the highest recommendation.

Beautiful place, the surrounding area is stunning on a clear day. The accommodation is comfy, homely and spacious. Breakfast reviews definitely lived up to expectations! Can not recommend this place more! The hosts are warming; they welcomed us with a cup of tea, toast and butter. They gave us suggestion for the night, and the breakfast was amazing as well. The place is beautiful, quiet and relaxing. The room and bathroom were perfect. We stayed here one night for our NC500 road trip. If you need a stop near by, this is a must!

A lovely couple. Yvonne has put her heart and soul into her home and the “accommodations” and it shows. Just excellent. Very knowledgeable about those local spots of interest you truly want to see and enjoy. This included great recommendations for meals in the area too. Will stay here again in a heart beat. Breakfast was perfect. We felt at home.

We really enjoyed our stay, the suite was lovely, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. The room was immaculately clean. The breakfast was delicious. John was so helpful and friendly. It was a real experience staying here. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Loved it, will be back. I was really nicely surprised at how great B & B could be when done by professionals. Don't Tell Anyone I said this, or I might not be able to get a room next time I'm in Wick - too many other will want to stay.

The Burnside Cottage is beautifully decorated with a vintage modern art nouveau feel, and lots of exquisite photography hanging. The eco-positive features of this BnB is absolutely outstanding. Kacey was a wonderful hostess, with great recommendations for sights to see locally. The breakfasts were exceptional and generous. I would stay again 1,000x over if I were able. It was also surprisingly easy to find!
