Completed in September 2020 this detached cottage features a large living room,beautiful dining kitchen , two double bedrooms with ample storage, wc room upstairs and luxury bathroom with bath and separate large walk in shower. The cottage is fully equipped for 4 people . There is your own designated parking space but also plenty of further parking in the surrounding area. A small bistro table and chairs provides outdoor seating for morning coffee , evening drinks . There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!

Self-contained annexe with its own entrance. This is 1820 built barn conversion. The property has ample grounds with lawns and grassed areas with uninterrupted panoramic views and also couple of friendly Pigmy goats. You can find highland cattle and horses in the fields nearby. Occasionally you can see deer in the open fields. It’s a perfect sanctuary to hideaway or for the more adventurous traveller to explore Scotland major cities Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Perfect for a relaxing break or any outdoors enthusiasts, with easy access to central Scotland. Local train stations provide quick & easy access to both Edinburgh and Glasgow city centres. An excellent base to discover and explore Scotland. On site we have very friendly black Labrador's named Grace and Belle.
