What a fantastic place! We had the Easter long weekend here and had a lovely time. Place was perfect with great views of the lake, well kitted out and clean. The owners were extremely communicative. Would book here in a flash!

The accommodation was amazing for a large group. House has an awesome lay out, super spacious living area and kitchen, comfy beds, and warm and toastie. Bridget’s communication was great at all times, highly recommend to stay here!

Great home for families with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The living space was very comfortable, and the addition of a range of family boardgames was great. The home is set in a quiet tranquil area overlooking forest/bush which provided lovely walks. Easy 10mins walk to Carrotland which is an an awesome adventure playground and activity area with pump track, bike tracks, playground etc. Our 7yr old loved it. We had some issues with running water when we arrived but Charlotte was super responsive and helpful and it was all resolved within an hour...and Charlotte provided a wee gift basket (nibbles and wine) in acknowledgement of our being slightly put out. Charlotte was very thoughtful and responsive in managing the whole issue. We will absolutely stay again. It was a lovely comfortable home.

Feilding House is a grand 100 year old home that has been lovingly restored so it is able to be enjoyed. The workmanship and attention to detail is stunning. The bedrooms are huge with luxurious linen and a feeling of opulence. The whole house is spacious and functional, while giving you a feeling of being back in time. The new bathroom is very spacious with a lovely big spa bath to enjoy. The huge kitchen with up to date appliances is wonderful to cook in. We certainly enjoyed using the pool and outdoor space. Thank you for sharing your beautiful historical house.

Great overnight stay! Clean and had everything we needed. The hottub was an added treat and the views were better than pictured!

We had a family weekend at Makehu Manor and created lasting memories. Location was beautiful and the perfect place to relax. The house and surroundings were so much more than our expectations and was really well equipped. There was plenty of room and was very family friendly. It was lovely and clean and Lizzie was great to deal with. The pool was also used by most of the family. It is the perfect location for all age groups. Thanks Lizzie.

A really well set up house. Everything you need. Fire really heats the place up so nice and cosy. Quiet area, sleept well, shower pressure was fantastic. Would stay again.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful location, quiet, close to town, the lake, supermarket and restaurants. Beds very comfortable and contact and instructions were great. Hosts accommodated addition to numbers after initial booking. Would recommend and stay again

Nice stay for our ski trip to Turoa, only 20 mins drive! Although kitchen has got all facilities but we have been dine out for 2 days for the locals tho the kitchen was left as it was. This 2 bedrooms unit with kitchen and bathroom facilities are just good enough for our family of 4! Dion was easy and friendly to communicated. The hot tub next door within less than 1 minutes walk is a great bonus for a full day after ski! Will come back for the next skip season!

Our recent stay was standout! The accommodations were so beautiful with original period features, stunning architecture and a location that is unbeatable. It was a stay with 5 people- myself, my parents and two children (5 and 7) and there was plenty of room for us all. There was no need to use the car as you are right in town and everything was easily walkable. The river with the paddle boat and Saturday markets was just a 3 minute stroll. The kitchen was well appointed and you are so close to many bars, cafes and restaurants if we didn’t feel like cooking. The bathroom was luxurious with a huge bath and underfloor heating which was a real treat for us. The home was full of lovely furniture and pottery which made it feel very homely and unique. We felt so lucky to stay in one of Whanganui’s historic buildings. We will be recommending to anyone headed to Whanganui :)

This property was close to town, as described, clean and tidy, comfortable beds, nice hot shower, peaceful and quiet. Good clear and precise communication. I would book this property again in the future. Thanks Paul.

Private, warm apartment at the Powderhorn end of town. We were inside for the majority of our two nights in Ohakune due to the weather but we were so comfortable and made use of the fully equipped kitchen. Thanks Dion for your great communication. We would stay again.

Lovely location overlooking Lake Taupo and into the sunset. Spacious deck to relax, eat and enjoy the view. Helpful responsive host. Very clean and well equipped living areas. Lovely Millennium Hotel restaurant right across the street. Great location for a relaxing break.

Very welcoming. Host arrived with some freshly baked bread and the fire was warming the house. We recommend staying here!

What a fantastic place! Very well set up with everything you need for a short or long stay. So comfortable and homey. We were just one couple but it also would be super for a large family group. It can sleep a lot of people comfortably and the communal space is large, like what you would find in a lodge. Great location. We walked up from the train and were able to walk to dinner and to some nice trails.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Kuratau genossen. Die Lage der Unterkunft unmittelbar am Lake Taupo ist phantastisch. Wir konnten direkt vom Grundstück an das Seeufer und dort schwimmen. Das Hazs bietet alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Hervorzuheben ist ausserdem die unglaubliche Ruhe fern von technischen Geräuschen, nur Vögel, Wind und Wellen. Die Kommunikation mit Barb war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie war hilfsbereit und reagierte rasch auf unsere Anfragen. Schade, dass wir nach 6 Tagen abreisen mussten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Very clean and tidy place and loved all of the little extras, made us feel like Liz had gone to a lot of effort to include useful extras. Kitchen and bathrooms were kept very tidy and the rooms were very spacious. Would 100% stay here again.

Absolutely outstanding property, totally private, fantastic views of the sea and of Mt. Taranaki. The setting is fantastic. Buy your groceries at the well-stocked New World in Waitara on your way to the property. There is also a Four Square at Urenui.
