Foley's Cottage - Restored 18th century Farmhouse.

Foley's Cottage is an old (18th century), restored , traditional, stone built farmhouse on a working family farm. The cottage has been restored sympathetically using original and locally sourced recycled materials. The roof timbers for example were sawn from trees grown on the farm. Also the kitchen units were handmade by a local craftsman, from recycled pitch pine. There are old beams and traditional real pine boarded floors. In addition, the cottage has all modern conveniences.

We are only 10 mins walk to the Main street where you will find ample shops, cafes and restaurants, Wexford Opera House or enjoy a lovely stroll on the promenade on Wexford Quay. Wexford Golf Club is less than 5 mins drive where you will find lovely views from the bar restaurant if you don't want to play golf. we are 10 mins taxi ride from the train station,taxi rank outside Dunnes Stores across the street from station.

Tucked away in South East corner of Ireland, we offer a chance to escape from it all in a private 1 bed cottage. Surrounded by coastal walks wildlife and ideal for bird watchers. We are 400m from sea and 10min walk to Carnsore Point. 5 minute The Lobster Pot Seafood Restaurant 10 minute Lady's Island with local shop , pub, Cafe Both Rosslare Harbour and Strand 15 minute drive with Golf courses and wonderful restaurants. Our house is perfectly situated on the Hook Peninsula, between the village of Fethard-On-Sea & our beautiful beaches of Baginbun & Carnivan. Walk less than 10 mins to the beach or village with award winning Gastro Pubs, Restaurants, Cafes, Shops, Take-Aways, Activity Centre & Tourist Office. Our house has a private garden with spectacular uninterrupted seaviews and a shared common green area. We live close by and can help with any local information you might need to enhance your stay.

Lovely Farmhouse in central Wexford

Lovely old farmhouse with wood burning stoves and an aga, perfectly located for touring the south east or heading to the ferry.The main Waterford / Wexford road is just 5 minutes away (20 minutes to Wexford town) and the Enniscorthy bypass can be reached in ten minutes. The house is ideally situated for a quick stop heading to or from the ferry in Rosslare, as it is approx 30 minutes away , or stay a bit longer and see all that Wexford has to offer.

Relax at this tranquil 3 bed home. .single and double beds. extra guest beds can be placed to sleep up to 8 guests. main room is dorm style with 3 beds We are 5 minutes' drive from the town of Enniscorthy in a rural location, note we are not in the town centre, taxis cost between 12 and 15 euro to bring you here from town. We have a local pub 4 minutes walk away but all shops etc are located in or near the town. . (hotub charges extra )

We are delighted that Curracloe beach (15 mins drive away) has been voted Irelands best beach 2024. It is a truly stunning 10km beach with Raven wood & a bird sanctuary to one side. Enjoy a quiet getaway in the Wexford countryside in this old 1800s stone building which includes a private ornamental garden to relax in. The building was used as a milking parlour and hay storage through much of the 1900s. .Wexford town 10 minutes . Johnson Castle 5 minutes. . Rosslare Harbour 15 minutes. Kilmore quay 20 minutes.
