The Ruah - Clifftop Retreat

A cosy self catering cottage for two in a private cliff top location on Eday. Located on Eday, heart of Orkney's north isles, this renovated croft is on Green Farm with a private sandy beach and copious open space. The Ruah is available all year and is ideal for walking, bird watching, cloud spotting, star gazing, rock pooling, daydreaming - or maybe just relaxing. There’s a walled yard to the front of the cottage with a picnic bench and uninterrupted views of the sea and neighbouring islands.

Mole End Cottage is a cosy humble ‘But and Ben’ single storey cottage made for two with one double bedroom. Offered on a self-catering basis, it has its own private garden, separate private parking and an outdoor seating area. In the West mainland area called Evie, we are around 20 minutes drive from both Kirkwall and Stromness which are the two main towns on the mainland Orkney. We offer complementary toiletries and provide some main stores for the kitchen plus your teas, coffee and sugar.

Nistaben is a peaceful newly renovated traditional Orkney house with direct private access to its own beach with panoramic views of the island and seascape. Upon request our luxury hot tub sanctuary can be booked. Nistaben is within easy walking distance of the pier, airport, shop, archaeological and historical sites, RSPB North Hill Nature Reserve, local amenities and The Hot Tub Sanctuary. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Set in the parish of Sandwick in rural Orkney surrounded by farmland, approximately 1.5 miles from the sea at Skaill beach and Skara Brae and approximately 4 miles from the ancient Ring of Brodgar, Standing Stones of Stenness and the recently discovered Ness of Brodgar which is currently being excavated.
