We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time at John's place. We wish we could have stayed longer. One of the few Airbnbs which is so much nicer in real life than on the pictures. Pictures cannot capture this tranquil place. Peaceful, idyllic place and grounds. The paths were lovely with bluebells and it felt like a little adventure hiking around the grounds. The sheep with their lambs were lovely to see through the bedroom window every morning. Tom the resident cat (outside) was a sweet addition to our stay. Always friendly and greeting us for cuddles many times throughout the day. Can really recommend for a family stay and for people who want a peaceful and quiet time in the countryside with lovely walks and beautiful views. Hope we'll be able to make it back in the future. We loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Catherine was a fantastic host. The house is in a remote location but that made it all the more peaceful for a weekend getaway. The kitchen and living areas were superb! Really spacious, comfortable and homely. Would highly recommend!

The stay was exactly as described. Really enjoyed the picturesque surroundings nestled in the woods. Waking up to the sound of birds and cows was a welcome reprieve from the sound of alarm clocks. The cabin is quaint but with everything you need and more. The tapes and polaroid created an old fashioned feel, making this a particularly unique experience. The lake and grounds were the perfect surroundings for our engagement!! Loved this stay so much we'll definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Brigit. The hut is small but very cozy, clean and well designed. Brigit and her husband are lovely people and we enjoyed having a chat with them. There is a lovely view from the hut of the farmland and lough. If you would like to swim in the lough, you will need to drive for about 10 minutes as the part of the lough near the hut is not accesible. The hut is a short drive from Glasson and Athlone. It would be difficult to stay in the area without having your own vehicle. Thanks

Thank you Geraldine for a wonderful stay at your accommodation. Geraldine is a fabulous host, very communicative, polite and our check in was seamless. The accommodation was tastefully decorated with all that you need for stay. The kitchen is well stocked and Geraldine left fresh produce which was a lovely touch. If you want to escape your busy life, this is the place to come and relax and unwind. There are two hot tubs that can be accessed 24/7. Also Geraldine offers alternative therapies and we availed of full body massage and reflexology. Both treatments were really good and added to our relaxing stay. There is a big BBQ pit that can be used and a smaller one right our the back of your accommodation. We would highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back in the future. Fantastic! John and Candice met us upon arrival, great communication throughout and very helpful. Wine and some kitchen essentials provided for us. Private and quiet location. As travellers from Australia this was a great find to wind down before commencing the rest of our travels. Highly recommended.

Really loved staying at the Balleycumber manor house. Connie was great and spent quite a bit of time showing us around and telling us all about the history of this house that has been in her family for generations. The grounds were fun to explore and the house had really comfortable rooms for sitting around a fire and enjoying a pint. It was a great central location for our rapid tour of Ireland.
