If you’re coming to sail, to walk our miles of seawall and river paths, to birdwatch, or just to get away from it all, you won't be disappointed. Just 25 metres from the river, the flat has been lovingly renovated to the highest standard, with a modern gas boiler for hot water and central heating. This is a lovely little bungalow on the banks of the River Crouch. It is semi rural. A 5 minute walk to Althorne station and 15 minute drive into Burnham on Crouch, which has some some great pubs and restaurants. We allow 2 well behaved dogs. The riverside walks are fabulous. It is a a quiet and tranquil spot. If you need a relaxing break, this is an ideal place. Nearest pub The Three Horseshoes is roughly a 5 min drive. The Tower - 1850s Tiny House in Historic Maldon

Step into a unique slice of Maldon's history with our charming and quaint house, nestled in the very heart of this historic Essex town. Originally built in the mid-19th-century, our delightful property boasts a fascinating past, having once served as the town's smokehouse. Local history suggests it played a vital role as a food store, where bacon was carefully air dried or perhaps where the town's cheesemonger would have stored their finest selections for the shop located in the main building.
