White Barn is a barn-style, ultra-modern sanctuary 1.5km from the city for couples, families or small groups in the inner city suburb of West Hobart. White Barn is a private two-bedroom house designed to take in the sunny northerly aspect and encompasses many contemporary design features, making our guests feel like they won’t want to leave. White Barn is centrally located 600m from the North Hobart cafe/restaurant strip; 1.5km from the city, 2km from the waterfront and 15 min drive to MONA.

Glasshouse is a one-of-a-kind architectural gem. Perched high, with sweeping views over the Derwent River, it's the perfect place to lose yourself in the ever changing expansive views. Stunning sunrises and moon rises over the water. Nestled in nature with wildlife on the front lawns, yet just a hop, skip, and jump away from vibrant coffee shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Experience floor-to-ceiling windows that stretch across two stories, a loft-style bedroom, and a luxurious bath.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Laneway hideaway

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

Studio 68 Centrally Located Garden Retreat

Privately positioned at the back of our leafy garden with separate access and gated off street parking away from the main house, Studio 68 is located just a two minute walk from the North Hobart strip and a 20 minute walk to Salamanca and Hobart's waterfront. Close to cafes, restaurants and bars, this garden studio is only a 5 minute drive to the Mona ferry terminal or a 20 minute drive to Mona. Wifi, heating and contemporary kitchen and bathroom ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay!

Adorable self-contained Guest Studio West Hobart

A detached studio, in a convenient part of West Hobart, close to public transport, walking distance to North Hobart’s cafe/ restaurant/ strip. Suitable for two people with a double bed, ensuite, study bench/dining table with a basic kitchenette only. It is not equipped with a fully working kitchen. Past the second garage doors is a private narrow courtyard. Fast fibre optic internet, suitable for video or business, ensure the router is turned on in the studio. Off street free parking.

Nestled in the historic streets of Hobart, a short walk to the city and hidden away like a well-kept secret, this tucked-away nook offers a home of of vintage aesthetics and modern comforts. Enjoy self check in, breathtaking city and river views , & walking to great coffee, green grocers, restaurants, bars, shopping & the Farm Gate Farmers Market in my street every Sunday. A haven for weary voyagers seeking refuge after a day of exploring and it is my home in between voyagers visits.

The modern studio is nestled in a luxurious garden providing a sense of serenity at the rear of our 130-year-old heritage house. Warm up next to the wood-fire after a short stroll to the local restaurants, bars and cafes located in North Hobart. Situated within 1.9km of the CBD and 2.8km to Salamanca waterfront, there is a bus stop at the end of the street. A microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and fridge are provided for your convenience, as well as a BBQ on your private deck.

This art deco flat is bright, light & airy, & has views down over the city & the water. It boasts some beautiful original 1950s features, as well as an updated kitchen & dining space. It is walking distance to the city centre & Salamanca Place. It's also close to the North Hobart strip, another popular area for food & wine lovers. The space is spacious but also cosy & comfortable. Situated in a quiet but central neighbourhood perfect for exploring all Hobart has to offer.

"The Cave" is a stylish and unique self-contained apartment under my centrally located 1885 West Hobart home. It is a 15 minute walk to the city centre and a short walk to the Elizabeth Street North Hobart cafe strip. With the stairs to the entry and the bed in a raised platform "nook", "The Cave" may not be for everyone, but if you're looking for well located lodgings that ooze atmosphere I think you'll love it!

Fully equipped, self contained and private, it is centrally located within minutes of all the best that Hobart has to offer. The city is a short 15 minute walk away & Salamanca Place, 25 minutes. A short Taxi or Uber ride to the waterfront or North Hobart costs around $8-10.
