River Cottage Near Loch Lomond

River Cottage is a detached riverside property located in the quiet village of Croftamie on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This charming cottage has been finished to a high standard and enjoys lovely views over rolling fields. The spacious decking area overlooks the river "Catter Burn" and is an ideal vantage point for watching the abundance of local wildlife. As an added bonus, free riverside fishing is available from within the grounds of the cottage and there is direct access onto open fields. The open plan living space has two large sofas (one being a sofa bed, making it possible to accommodate up to four adults). The kitchen area is fully fitted with table and chairs for dining. Local amenities are available in Croftamie, including a pub renowned for its delicious food and a number of small shops. Preferred lets are Saturday 3pm to Saturday 10am on a self catering basis, however if you wish to enquire about any dates/times outwith this or a short break then please contact me and I will try to accommodate you if I can. We are delighted to welcome dogs as long as they bring their own beds, are not allowed on furniture and not left unattended. Worth noting that we have chickens roaming freely and the cottage is surrounded by fields which have livestock. We charge £10 per dog, per night and this can be paid at check in. Accommodation details Ground floor Property is all at ground floor level, has electric oil filled radiators and comprises: Lounge Area: With electric stove effect fire, satellite TV/DVD, WiFi, sofa bed (there is an additional charge of £50 for bedding for the sofa bed) and patio doors leading onto decking area. Dining Area: With table and 4 chairs Kitchen Area: With electric oven and electric hob, kettle, toaster, tassimo coffee maker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Bedroom: With king size bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, hair dryer and view over farmland Shower Room: With shower cubicle, WC and wash basin. Facilities All power, bed linen, towels and bathrobes included. Cot and high chair available on request. Miscellaneous Small enclosed garden, large decking area with outdoor seating and BBQ (coals not supplied), with views over river. River access (youngsters take care!) and free fishing from river bank. Access to open farmland along river. Wireless broadband connection. Secure storage for bicycles and fishing equipment etc. Shared laundry facilities available on request. Off road parking for 2 cars.

Dumbarton Home With A View, Close To Loch Lomond

Great central location for exploring Scotland. 2 bed mid terraced house with magnificent views over Dumbarton Castle and the River Clyde. Minutes from Overton Estate with plenty of walking and bike trails. Excellent base for visiting the stunning Loch Lomond area and beyond, with convenient access to Glasgow and Edinburgh by train or car. Please note that there are a number of stairs to access the property, so may not be suitable for someone with mobility issues. On street parking.

Altquhur Cottage

Altquhur Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the Campsie Fells, 10 minutes by car to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. The cottage is set on a farm with horses, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields and hens roaming around outside the garden. The cottage has a spacious dining kitchen, cosy living room with wood burning stove and comfortable sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom and utility room. There is a fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture.

One-bed flat with a lovely park view

Enjoy your stay in this lovely one bedroom apartment in the centre of Balloch. This wonderful location is known as the gateway to the north, situated at the foot of Loch Lomond. Both the train station and bus station are only a few minutes walk away and nearby numerous walking, climbing and hiking trails. The cultural venues in the cities of Glasgow and Stirling are approximately 30-40 minutes by car. There is free on street parking. The apartment is accessed via stairs.

Fantastic average size first floor flat with a loft conversion bedroom & bathroom. Two flights of stairs with own door entrance, 18 steps in total. Garden access. Long narrow hall on entry with downstairs WC. Average size high ceiling living room & dining area with a galley kitchen off the dining area. One double bedroom with a double bed. Riverside Apartment - Strolling by Loch Lomond.

This apartment is perfectly situated on the main street of Balloch just a few steps away from Loch Lomond. Plenty of bars and restaurants within minutes. Nice walks right on the doorstep. Take a boat trip on Loch Lomond. There are plenty of water-based activities to enjoy and lush scenery to take in. Well behaved pets are very welcome. Fibre broadband. 1 bedroom semi-detached cottage set on around 30 acres of private land with stunning views over some of Scotlands finest scenery and hills including Ben Lomond. The property itself is equipped with private access, private decking area, one bedroom with king size bed and a private bathroom with shower. The kitchen/living area is complete with all essentials including dishwasher and washing machine and a small dining table.

Bright one bedroom ground floor flat in the heart of Balloch. 5 minutes walk to Loch Lomond. Take a trip on one of the cruises and see the loch at its best. Or why not take a train to Glasgow, its a short 5 minute walk to Balloch station. Everything else is even closer, great pubs, shops and restaurants. Balloch park is across the road from the flat. Get up early and spot a deer.
