Rustic Ridge is a charming 2 story home. With 3 bedrooms upstairs, 2 downstairs. Nestled snuggly in the foothills of the Shenandoah Mountain. This home includes a wrap around porch, two spacious living areas/kitchens with working wood stoves, perfect for cozying up with a good book or winding down from a day of hunting in the nearby George Washington National Forest. Two ponds are located on the property with gorgeous mountainous views. The perfect home for relaxing, unwinding and disconnecting

Serenity by the Stream

Cabin in the Shenandoah Mountain surrounded by National Forest on 3 sides. Inside cozy atmosphere with warm lighting and local landscape art throughout. Bright and cheery in the bedrooms best suited for 2-4 adults or family with children. Wonderful sound of the river throughout the property. Step outside to hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails, and stocked lakes and streams. Well maintained paved state road to cabin driveway. The house is 20 minutes West of Harrisonburg VA and JMU.

Entire Country Cottage guesthouse / Very Private

Gloriously private without feeling secluded, this charming guesthouse was totally updated in 2019. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Go for a walk or bike ride on the 28 plus acres or pretty rural lanes. 2.5 miles away is Lake Robertson for activities . Sit on the porch too! On a snowy night, enjoy the wd-burning fireplace . (We will often leave fireplace prepared to light. Gas heating also). Get cozy with the full kitchen, washer/dryer, games and books. DirecTv in the living room and bedroom. too!

Sunrise Casita: a tiny house at Cana Barn

Our 250 sq ft tiny house was built by our talented craftswoman Kara. We used wood from our property and reclaimed materials to create a cozy and unique getaway. The front porch looks out to a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and looks up to a local vintage sign. We are LGBTQ+ welcoming. Sunrise to us is the embodiment of a fresh start and a new opportunity. It is hope and possibility, adventure and inspiration, beauty and wonder. We hope all of this for your stay in our tiny house!

Between the Creeks

Welcome to "Between the Creeks", The 700sqft cabin is located between 2 Drafts (Creeks as we like to call them) You will drive over top Jonas Draft which flows into Ramsey's Draft located to the right about 500 ft. Ramsey's Draft is located behind the cabin which flows on the property! Enjoy the mountain views, listening to the frogs at the pond, and the water at the creek! Enjoy the piece and quiet! Just minutes from George Washington Natural Forest! Only about 30 minutes from Staunton.

The Laurel Hill Treehouse

Fully immerse yourself in nature in this serene Scandinavian-inspired woodland retreat, perfect for a couple's getaway. The treehouse is perfectly nestled amongst the trees, offering a chance to unwind while enjoying the beautiful views of nature. Located in the pristine Mill Gap Valley. At night you can reach out and touch the stars. National Forrest is close by too. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that can only be offered in Highland county. The farm along with our Maple Syrup is certified Organic. From our apple trees to our hay and pastures. We are Organic! If you would like a tour of our farm or maple operation, let us know! By September 2020, there will be a new outdoor living area with a hot tub and dining.

The Maury River Treehouse

Welcome to The Maury River Treehouse! This luxury timber frame cabin sits on the banks of the Maury River. The Treehouse was built almost entirely by local craftsmen this is a must see! Located 9 miles from Lexington, Washington & Lee and Virginia Military Institute. It's a fisherman's friend, paddlers paradise or just a relaxing retreat! The timber frame construction, stone fireplace, gourmet kitchen and park like setting will take your breath away! You won’t want to leave!

Stony Brook Nordic Cabin

A bright open space with large windows and high ceilings that compliment the view of surrounding foliage. A large screened-in porch at the front of the house is perfect for intimate gatherings. A hot tub is available alongside the house in addition to a two-person outdoor shower, and corn hole boards and a fire pit offer additional options for family fun. You won’t have cell phone signal out here -and the WiFi isn’t strong enough to run too many devices at one time.

Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
