Tranquility & Vistas on the Farm in the Guest Barn

When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead and enter the Guest Barn, you'll notice the construction materials which were salvaged from a nearby barn and corncrib. The timbers from these buildings were torn down, moved to our farm and rebuilt into a smaller “new” barn. It truly represents a real farm experience you can feel. While here, you'll slow down and enjoy the tranquility. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow, watch barn kitties play, while gazing across the vast farm vistas.

Wild Rose Road Cabin - Rural Ft. Atkinson, Iowa

A frame style house on 13 private wooded acres where "we are the destination"! located in beautiful Winneshiek County, IA. Off of hwy 24 between Calmar and Fort Atkinson Iowa. Built-in a Valley in Winneshiek County's Driftless area in beautiful Northeast Iowa we have created an amazing hideaway for you to enjoy on 13 private wooded acres. You can hike, relax, play and walk the shaded trails around our new pond. Enjoy all of nature's glory including wildflowers birds turkeys deer is deer.

The EJ House 4 Bedroom 1 1/2 Bath

The EJ house was built in 1905 with the original woodwork, stain glass windows and front door. The house is a little over 1600 sqft of living space. The house has 4 bedrooms with three queen beds and one full size bed. Guests will find it to be surprisingly spacious and a comfortable place to work, play or relax. There is a full-size washer and dryer in the house. The house has central air for those warm summer days or enjoy the large back deck. The woodwork is original to the house.

LakeHouse: Beach•Kayaks•Playground (sleeps 16+)

Nov-April: Sleeps 15 in the house (no heat in barn) May-Oct: Sleeps 16+ (AC in the UP BARN) This Spacious Lake Front Home is perfect for the whole family with full service Amenities! Enjoy an acre of land, 4 bdrm house + bunkroom. 1st floor of barn filled with games, & ample seating. Enjoy the waterfront w/ dock, boat slip, swing & fire pit. The outdoor bball court, frisbee course, sand volleyball, splash pad, playground to entertain. ***Extra fee applies to groups over 16)***

The Kimball House

Beautiful Victorian home in the heart of Fayette only one block from downtown & Upper Iowa University. Features an updated kitchen w/ stainless steel appliances and family room w/gas fireplace. Formal living room & dining room have original hardwood floors; upstairs has engineered hardwoods. Updated bathroom has double vanity and shower. Downstairs 1/2 bath and laundry room has sink and shower. This charming home has everything you need to make your visit to NE Iowa fantastic!

Northeast Iowa Farm Cottages is located on a working farm near Sumner, IA. We are just 15 minutes from Upper Iowa University in Fayette. Stay in one of our two newly renovated farm buildings, with accommodations for up to 12 people. You'll get peace and quiet at Rustic Acres, but we aren't far from local attractions! We are located about two miles north of Seed Savers, three miles from Winneshiek Wildberry Winery, seven miles from Luther College, nine miles from downtown Decorah, and 13 miles from Toppling Goliath.

Cushions Cabins West

Very private, secluded and relaxing spot within 30 yards of walking or biking trail. Enjoy wildlife, plenty of deer and eagles to watch off the large open front porch. Fire pits for each cabin with firewood provided. Grill provided in front yard. Two private bedrooms with a queen bed in each. Kitchen included microwave, 2-burner stove and full size refrigerator. Coffee make and toaster also provided. River for canoeing and kayaking within walking distance.

Hill Top House

Located .5 miles from the Upper Iowa River, Hilltop house has the most perfect view. The house sleeps 8, but we welcome and encourage smaller groups as well. This location has 2 bathrooms, a relaxing loft and the most dreamy porch. *WARNING* When booking in the winter be aware of our driveway shown in the picture. We highly recommend 4 wheel drive. We also have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

The Store

Welcome to The Store! This place originated as a grocery store in our little town of Ossian, IA. We have given this building a fresh new facelift and turned it into a vacation home. Don't be turned away from the outside as we continue to update but embrace the charm we have built on the inside. This space was well thought out with stunning features that we are excited to share with you!

Pool House on Main

Enjoy a private getaway in New Hampton featuring a rare indoor pool perfect year-round. This spacious home sleeps 10 and sits on a full acre, offering plenty of room to relax, gather, and make memories. Includes ample parking—ideal for families, groups, and weekend retreats. Buffalo Lodge

Enjoy a nice quite place with a pond and wildlife to watch. Enjoy coffee or drinks on the porch overlooking the pond. Minutes from Decorah where there is a bike trail and trout stream. Has outdoor fire pit. Firewood included. Enjoy paddle boating and kayaking on the pond. 1 paddle boat and 2 kayaks are included in your stay.
