It is a wonderful experience to stay in our beautiful home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by vast ranch lands. Viewing wildlife and observing nature is a favorite pastime for our guests and the wildlife is everywhere, from birds in the sky and in the water to many elk, deer and other mammals abound. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.

The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. If you are interested in hiking or exploring, this is the perfect place, or you can simply relax and enjoy some quite solitude on the mountain. A beautifully appointed artistic cabin will full amenities on a ridgeline of the Pecos wilderness valley. Breathtaking views of the mountains, wilderness, Rowe mesa and the Milky Way. The drive to Santa Fe is easy and peaceful (~35 minutes). The Pecos river swimming hole is accessible by trail from the house along with several miles of hikeable wilderness. Starting in the summer of 2016, The Famous Pecos River Cliff House will be available to travelers. The home has been a private residence for the last 12 years. We are now opening it up to the public and would love to share this hidden treasure with you The Cliff House is like nothing you have ever seen before. This custom adobe towers 50 feet over the Pecos River with breathtaking views of the river, dam, and canyon.
