So you know: - Nearest market is about 10 miles away. We'll provide some basic things for the kitchen. - Guest house sits 50 yards from main house but is separate with lots of privacy.

Hood are all about an hour. There are numerous hikes, from the forest right down the street to Silver Falls and beyond. In the past there was no AC, but now a portable air conditioner is provided for the summer months.

Where you are surrounded by trees , feel the breezes, sunrise and sunset in the same day, and sometimes the wonderful wildlife around us. Birds in the sky , rabbits and sometimes deer, and yes our two friendly goats. Oh yes and the expansive midnight sky with the bright stars twinkling above or the big round moon shining down on you as you sit on the patio in the evening enjoying the night air.
