Treehouses at Candlelight Forest/Le Petit Chateau

Le Petit Chateau is one of two treehouses for rent in Candlelight Forest, a Simpler Times resort 18 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Le Petit Chateau sleeps 6 and has a deck featuring our signature Canopy Kitchette for a unique outdoor grilling experience. The treehouse is beautifully decorated in the french farmhouse style. The Candlelight Forest is central to all the famous Chattanooga attractions, in addition to offering fishing and canoeing on our own Lake Angela. Perched in a beautiful tree canopy, Le Petit Chateau is built upon a sloping ridge which provides for very safe and easy access, as the entrance is at ground level. Its charming decor is inspired by old farmhouses of the French countryside. Upon arrival, a short stroll through the woods (and after dark, under near-magical hanging moon lights) brings you to the front door of your home away from home. A queen bed nook with privacy curtain, an open living area, a full bath, a back porch, and many thoughtful nooks and crannies adorned with decorator surprises provide the downstairs living experience. Up a two-tiered loft ladder, 4 twin beds and a cute half bath await the more adventurous up above. Our own signature Canopy Kitchenette (TM) rounds out the experience. The back porch has a very simple kitchen that includes a stainless wash sink, concrete countertop, toaster, and a gas grill with side burner, all elegantly covered in the shade of an oversized umbrella. Dine upon the custom built-in fold-down table and antique wooden chairs. Le Petit Chateau combines the greatest of all vacation experiences - cooking outdoors with shelter to boot, cozy spaces for family fun and romance, and a home base for all the excitement that awaits in this enchanting mountain and valley world only minutes from vibrant Chattanooga. The Candlelight Forest Resort, of which the treehouse is part, is comprised of 200 acres of preserve that includes two small mountain lakes for catch and release fishing, hiking trails, and a park with badminton, corn hole, a fire pit, and a historic marquee tent with family games. The Plucky Peacock is our farmstand and country store which serves as your welcome center. Television celebrity host Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters also built a lovely recreational treehouse inside Candlelight Forest for you to enjoy. Guests have full access to their private Treehouse and all of Candlelight Forest, close to 200 acres of preserve including two small mountain lakes, a creek and many trails and amenities. We believe we have carved out a unique niche in the getaway/resort venue industry. We have a devoted team that wants to ensure you have an amazing time at Candlelight Forest, recreating and relaxing yourselves in a world that hearkens back to a simpler time. These accommodations are perfectly located to take in Chattanooga and the many surrounding attractions that abound nearby, including Cloudland Canyon State Park, Rock City, Ruby Falls, and The Chickamauga National Battlefield Park, all about 20 minutes away. Our staff is very eager to help you with ideas outside the gate including great eateries in Chattanooga as well as in the Valley and along Lookout Mountain. Come stay in our favorite Gamekeeper's Hut at Fable Realm! The Keeper of Keys' Hut is set on our private 40-acre location. Try your skill at the scavenger hunt, relax by a fire outside (giant-sized cauldron), watch the birds enjoy the pond from outside of this magical stone space just down the hill from The Burrow, and near Fairytale Cottage. Fannie's Place

This tiny home is on the historic home site of Fannie Mennen and the Plum Nelly Clothesline Art Show. She even named the road. The home is brand new, artfully decorated and has 1 double bed, 1 bath, a sleeping loft with 2 twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa. The view is from 2000 ft elevation and looks into the valley and across to the mountain again. There is civil war history on the property. There is a 100 ft drop so guests are asked to not stay here with young children.

Our Secluded Country Cabin is located just off I-59 and only one exit from the I-24 split near Trenton, GA. We’re conveniently located only 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, Cloudland Canyon State Park and Lake Nickajack! You will enjoy the peaceful country atmosphere of this private oasis while surrounded by nature, fresh air, and beauty. You will love the convenience if you’re traveling through, and there’s lots to do if you plan to stay a while.

The Artistree House A Treehouse in Rising Fawn

The Artistree House on Lookout Mountain is a brand new luxury treehouse with panoramic views and a spectacular sunset. This is a place to relax, unwind and get inspired. It features reclaimed wood from a furniture store that was over 100 years old such as the heart pine floors, hand crafted bed and ladder to the loft bedroom. The antique oak door with original doorbell, was taken from an 1890’s farmhouse out of Macon, GA.
