Self Contained Cottage

Kia ora and welcome to Chaparral Sunset. Your hosts Lyn and Keith welcome you into their rural fully self-contained accommodation. Our cosy guest house has Sky TV, wireless internet, a guest BBQ and well equipped kitchen. Babies under 6 months are free. There is a charge of $20.00 a night for children older than 6 months, a free porta-cot (including mattress and bedding) is available on request. Service animals are welcome, we do appreciate guests letting us know.

The Bus Depot.

The Bus Depot is a rustic retreat overlooking the beautiful firth of Thames. A beautifully restored 1979 Bedford bus which has all the modern comforts but still retains original features of the bus, this area has sleeping for two along with kitchen area, fridge, gas stove and a dining area on the covered deck. From the daybed to the loft space or going for a walk on the farm or just sitting in front of the fire you can enjoy the views at this outstanding location.

Total privacy in this Self contained unit in Onewhero comprising of double bedroom, lounge, bathroom and small kitchenette situated on half an acre of organic gardens and lawn. The kitchenette has hot jug, toaster, microwave, small oven, fridge, crockery and cutlery. Perfect for preparing/heating a simple meal, making tea/coffee and self help breakfast. A place to relax and get away from it all, nearby Nikau Caves and Cafe, Port Waikato surf beach and Harkers Resrve for Bush Walks ,We now have aircon and wifi. We do have a couple of dogs who like to greet guests in the morning with a bark but it doesn’t go on for long and not every morning
