This cabin has a full kitchen with dinnerware and utensils, full bathroom with full tub/shower and oil stove heat.

Gravelly Range Retreat - Red Room

This is a private bedroom in a home with a full bathroom, living room, dining and kitchenette area exclusively for guests. Bedroom has queen-sized bed with linens, bath towels and other amenities. The kitchen has a utility sink and cabinet, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, glasses, dishes, silverware and various utensils. The living room has a TV and strong wifi. The Golden Trout is a delightful cabin on Daylight Creek just 1 mile from Virginia City, 12 miles to Ennis, 90 miles to Yellowstone, and 1 hour from the Bozeman airport. Relax on the covered deck and savor the mountain views, and see moose and turkey pass through the meadow. Leave your windows open to enjoy the babbling creek just a few feet from the bedrooms. The cabin has an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors. The dining area opens onto a patio with a BBQ.

For the adventure traveler, try a night or two in a sheep wagon. Home on wheels to early sheep herders in the mountains of Montana, this hand built wagon sits on our 30 acre homestead. Finished under canvas with tongue and groove pine, this very small space offers a unique lodging experience. Inside is a nice queen size bed, 2 bench seats, and a pull out dining table. Enjoy mountain views from the outside bench, rocker & fire pit. Bathroom facilities in our nearby shop.

La Valise Apartment

If you love wandering this historic town, exploring the close summer and winter outdoor access or just want a quiet space to hang out. This new apartment, attached to a 1870 restored home is the perfect place! Located in the heart of Virginia City, this apartment features solar hot water, repurposed furniture and decor. Complete with private entrance, patio, full kitchen, bath and private bedroom with Queen bed and a sleeper couch in the living room.

Unique living experience with stunning mountain views and roaming pronghorn! Enjoy the quietness and feel like you are returning to the pioneer days. This is a fully functional house for two people. There is no running water into the house itself, but there is an electric well pump delivering water 200 yards from the house. There is an outhouse and a wood fired sauna to heat bathing water with. Drinking water, instructions and firewood are provided.
