We stayed here over spring break with our young kids. Tommy and Janet were very friendly and responsive. The location is great! Literally right across the street from the beach, and close to our all time favorite brewery :) we'd love to come back again in the summer months!

Old Beacon is a cozy beach spot. The property consists of 4 units - two in front and two in back. The shared pool is a great place to relax on a windy afternoon and be out of the wind and featured plenty of seating and tables with umbrellas. Bedrooms are cozy and welcoming and the beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and bright! Great place for a weekend or week long getaway! Matt is very responsive and gives clear instructions on how to park at the property and when you can access the house. Hope to be back soon!

Great location, only steps from the beach. It is still not full beach season so it wasn’t crowded. Lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed it.

Our family enjoyed our weekend at Big Blue. It was special because it was my wife's birthday and there was plenty of family with us. We really liked how the 2nd and 3rd floor are duplicates of each other. It's like 2 different apartments , but we had access to both. The kids on the 2nd floor and the adults on the 3rd. Very clean open spaces. The host were responsive and proactive. We hope to make the Willoughby Spit area a regular vacation spot, very lovely.

This place was perfect for the kids and parents and grandparents. We enjoyed our stay here walking distance to the beach was perfection. It was so peaceful, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the downstairs yard & patio area. We didn’t get to use the bbq grill but next time we stay here we will. Beautiful home. Thank you

My family of four had a great stay. The house is perfect for young kids, with plenty of space for everyone but easy to keep an eye on young ones. No stairs or extra stuff around to keep them away from. The fenced in backyard was great to have. The house is as described, stocked with essentials, and very clean. Douglas was a helpful host and even delivered a corn hole set after we asked about it from the listing photos. In my opinion, the neighborhood isn’t an attraction itself but the location is convenient to get to places across the area.

We really enjoyed staying at the golden hour! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! They had sound machines in every bedroom which if you have kids is a big deal. The toys and kids activities there were a big hit! The pools are pristine and the whole outdoor area is very nice! Very short walk to beach which was also convenient! They literally thought of everything, if you forgot something chances are they had it! Definitely recommend staying here if you have children and want a nice low key place to stay!

This was a beautiful place with lots of room. The host was super responsive to any questions and also offered up local adventures to enjoy. House was clean and in great shape. I would recommend this vacation home to anyone and would use again. The kitchen was stocked perfect with all plates and cookware you need to host meals for a large family

5 stars in every category! This house has everything you could possibly need, and you can’t beat the location. The pool, games, beach gear and fire pit were great and the bikes were a great touch and made exploring the area much more fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future.

The house and the host were incredible. Immediately upon arriving, we felt at home and ready to relax. There are so many five star touches in this house --- every room has its own sound machine; there is a top notch massage chair in the living room; and there is ample space to get away while all being in the same home. Our kids were asking within the first hour if this could be the forever house. I am looking forward to booking this space again in the future!

Martin’s place was BEAUTIFUL and SO clean! Very roomy and beautifully decorated with all the amazing attention to details! The wild horses that came to visit the property were so beautiful and fascinating to watch! I will absolutely be back and 1000% recommend Martin’s place! Martin was also an incredible host with his attentiveness and even talked me through driving on the beach since it was my very first time ever driving on sand… I was terrified lol But he was able to calm me down via the phone and I got there safe and sound with no issues! Awesome stay!! 😁

Denise and her dog Murphy were incredible host. The air bnb was comfortable and relaxing, Denise really goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Provides coffee, water, and light breakfast options. Really was a relaxing stay and there was nothing better then waking up and getting into the pool. 100% recommend

Place is great, the beautiful sunsets every evening the sitting outside on porches just watching listening to water. Great location, minutes from everything. The elevator spoiled us loading/unloading luggage and groceries. Natalie is quick to respond to any problems that might arise. Don’t hesitate to book this place will definitely be back.

Overall very nice stay at Stephanie's home. She was excellent at communication leading up to the visit and during the trip as well. Had everything we needed and the beds were really comfortable. The location is very close to the 4x4 entrance to Carova which was super convenient, and the main reason we stayed in this area. But it was also close to restaurants, walking distance to the beach, and lots of activities nearby. The house itself is spacious, and the pool and hot tub were great to have for kids and adults alike. The home is showing some signs of wear and tear (decks, furniture, floors, paint) but honestly that's to be expected in OBX homes. Salt and sun aren't kind to upkeep! Thanks again, will consider Stephanie's home for next trip.

Our stay at Small Dream FantaSea was nothing short of amazing. Kevin and Joan have thought of everything and our family immediately felt right at home. Packing for our trip was so easy, given how much was already at the house (towels, chairs, sand toys, games, soap, detergent, toilet paper, etc.). Our girls loved rides of the golf cart and we were at the beach or at the shops/restaurants in no time. We love how close we were to Central Park and made many visits to play cornhole or go to the playground. This was our family’s first trip to Cape Charles and it certainly won’t be the last. We are so grateful to Kevin and Joan for all they do to make it a great vacation!

Our family and dogs had such a great time and felt right at home! The location was great being right in the middle of Virginia Beach and Williamsburg. The house was incredibly clean and had everything we need. The kitchen is fully stocked and we loved having washer dryer access. The beach access to the bay is right down the road. We ended up traveling to VB for our beach day but it was nice to have this spot for quick trips to the beach with the dogs and toddler. Other than the beach there is not much to do from a walk ability standpoint but lots of food delivery options available and restaurants within driving distance.

The kitchen had everything you would want. My grandkids loved the video games. The closets were so large my grandkids called one of them their secret fort. We all had a wonderful time! This was our first Airbnb experience. We will definitely try again.

I’ve been at many Airbnbs all over the world, and Heidi’s Airbnb is the best we’ve stayed at. It wasn’t just the beautiful view… it was all of the thoughtful touches throughout the home that made it feel more like home. It was very well stocked with quality items. Lots of towels and kitchen items to comfortably live for a few weeks or more. We stayed 24 nights and we were sad to leave. Heidi was always available to resolve any issues that came up. We were there for a stressful competition, and it was a perfect place to recharge. I hope I have the chance to come back. Also breakfast next door and Mexican across the street are so convenient!! I wanted to move there! Thank you Heidi for everything!

Had a great stay here over the weekend. The home is super cute, very open and fit all four of us easily. Super clean and a very easy stay. Host was fabulous and gave us everything we needed ahead of time to have a seamless experience. Definitely recommend!

This was an excellent B&B to stay at! The cleaning staff do an amazing job with almost no trace of sand left over! The house is very comfortable and modern! I would stay here again and recommend it to a friend!

Great place, great views !! This is probably the best Air Bnb that we have stayed. All our family members had great time in the house. Gina has planned the house so well, very clean and all household items you can imagine are available. Simply a great Host !!
