Hollywood Lodge & Green Jewel Adventures

Hollywood Lodge and Green Jewel Adventures is a unique accommodation located in the town of Steinkopf. The house dates back to 1868 and was originally a shop owned by Leipoldt Brêcher, the son of Ferdinand Brêcher. The building served as a dancehall and school. It earns the name Old Hollywood. In 1983, the property was purchased by Johannes Vries, who renovated it and turned it into a home. Letitia was inspired by her family's history and today it provides authentic cultural homestyle stays.

Chalet 1 is a guest favorite. It has a lovely double bed, as well as two single beds. This charming country room creates a soothing ambiance that is perfect for some R&R. The room combines a quaint décor with all the modern amenities like high-speed Internet, fridge, flat-screen TV, and hairdryer. It has a cozy kitchen. This chalet has a separate bathroom where you can fully relax and enjoy your holiday. You wake up with a fabulous view of the towering mountains and fresh Orange River.

Chalet 5 is our family favorite. It has a private bedroom with two three-quarter beds, as well as two single bunk beds and a sleeper couch for two. The chalet is modernly decorated and has a cozy kitchen. This chalet has a spacious bathroom where you can fully relax and enjoy your stay. Kids have ample space to run around. There is also a spacious patio with built-in braai.

Chalet nr.2 comes with an elegant but cozy design, this room has all you need for a much-needed retreat or getaway. It has soft lighting and great attention to detail, the room creates just the right atmosphere. Ideal for two people but we can arrange for an extra bed. Enjoy hiking, fishing, and trips on the river. Exotic and hot weather and dine under the stars.

Number 3 is ideal for someone who enjoys a little bit more privacy. It has an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, basin, and shower as well as a private yard, where you can enjoy braaing in peace and quiet. The room has one double bed and two single beds. It also has a lovely kitchen looking over the mango farm.
