Beachfront Guest Cottage - Year-round Hot Tub!

Our cozy guest cottage has easy beachfront/kayak/canoe access (if you bring your own) and is located very close (within walking distance at low tide) to the public boat launch for larger boats. Great location to explore Deer Isle, Acadia (approx 1hr), Castine (45m), and the Bangor (1hr) area. Brave children and adults even swim from the beach but comfortable swimming ponds/lakes are 10m in several directions. The hot-tub is open year-round! Additional guests can be considered prior to booking.

Charming cottage called "Bungalhigh" with 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room and wrap around porch, located on a swimming cove with view of Blue Hill Mountain and the ocean, a half mile from Blue Hill village. Pet-friendly, Netflix, Internet. Nearby is a 2nd cottage, "Bungalow", which is rented out separately and simultaneously. Guests walk in front of Bungalhigh and share yard & cove. Swimming & Kayaks. This property is dog friendly. We might be best for guests travelling with pets.

We’ve maintained the antiquity of the house along with many antique pieces of furniture. Enjoy everything coastal Maine has to offer with this as your home base. The views are outstanding and the house is well appointed and well maintained. This house encompasses the second and third floors, with great ocean views. The first floor is a separate apartment. The property has a large back yard to relax or play in and a dedicated BBQ. The house sits across the street from Clam Cove and is not directly on the beach. Beach access is private, quick and easy.

It takes about thirty minutes to drive over to MDI and Acadia National Park. The property has a private beach for kayaking and woods with a picnic area and fire pit. It is a wonderful spot for walking and viewing wildlife; ducks, eagles, shore birds, seals and deer.
