The Round House

The main portion of the home is a converted grain bin dating from the late ‘70s, and contains the living room, dining area, a partial kitchen, a half bath, and the master bed. The remainder of the home is an alcove with the stove and microwave, a laundry room, full bath, a second bedroom addition, and a single car garage. Please note that the most convenient entry into the home is through the second bedroom. Covington has hard water, please be aware there will be calcium clouding on fixtures.

Small Town Bungalow

Enjoy the peace and solitude as you explore the 5 lakes and hiking trails on our 750 acre slice of Heaven. Enjoy fishing from the bank or book an exciting guided fishing trip for an additional fee. Relax at the large fire pit or enjoy a nap in one of the lakeside hammocks. Check out the 31 covered bridges in historic Parke County or the local Sycamore Winery that is just down the road. Only 15 minutes from Terre Haute which is home to several universities and many dining options.

Artesian Springs Calm Retreat

Historic property that has an amazing story to tell! In the little town of Silverwood, Indiana a booming metropolis existed in the late 1800s. The Wabash Erie canal and the railroad intersected in this little town! This home is the old general store and post office! Elmer and Ethel Grubbs operated this until 1976... My mom lovingly converted this property into a summer home in 1980. Near Turkey Run and Shades State Park!!! The Badlands!! Covered bridge festival and so much more!

Between the leaves changing, snow, and wildlife there is always something beautiful to see. This is a fun stay that is anything but ordinary.

The Homestead - Lilac Room

The Homestead was built in 1829 and I worked 3 years to restore it to its original glory while adding all the modern conveniences. Exterior areas will be a work in process for awhile yet, planned are a garden area on the main lot as well as a gazebo and recreational areas on the side lot.
