The Round House

The main portion of the home is a converted grain bin dating from the late ‘70s, and contains the living room, dining area, a partial kitchen, a half bath, and the master bed. The remainder of the home is an alcove with the stove and microwave, a laundry room, full bath, a second bedroom addition, and a single car garage. Please note that the most convenient entry into the home is through the second bedroom. Covington has hard water, please be aware there will be calcium clouding on fixtures.

The Wabash Erie canal and the railroad intersected in this little town! This home is the old general store and post office! Elmer and Ethel Grubbs operated this until 1976... The Homestead was built in 1829 and I worked 3 years to restore it to its original glory while adding all the modern conveniences. Exterior areas will be a work in process for awhile yet, planned are a garden area on the main lot as well as a gazebo and recreational areas on the side lot.
