We just returned after a fantastic week in Fredrik's house on Storholmen, Stockholm. It is a real home with a wonderfully welcoming and personal atmosphere. Lots of books and games and maps and nice places to sit in the sun or shade playing board games and read - both inside and outside. We swam and rowed in Fredrik's boats and ran round the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. A truly memorable and special place. My warmest recommendations!! Claus DK

Karl's huis is een prachtig, sfeervol huis uit begin 20e eeuw. Het heeft ruime kamers en een mooie, passende inrichting uit die tijd, met het comfort van de huidige tijd. De locatie van het huis is ook heel mooi: het uitzicht vanaf de heuvel, de mooie, rustige buurt waarin het huis ligt en de korte afstand van hartje Stockholm (circa 15 minuten met de auto) en andere bezienswaardigheden. Karl is een aardige eigenaar en communiceert snel. Dank je wel dat we hier konden verblijven.

We just spent a fabulous stay at Robin’s place. The main house is so nicely and personally decorated. The sauna and relax places are so well located by the sea. We really enjoyed this paradise in the Swedish archipelago! We will come back for sure!

Wir hatten als fünfköpfige Familie eine tolle Zeit in dem Haus und in der Umgebung. Stockholm ist sehr nah und auch die umgebenden Inseln sowie Naturschutzgebiete sind einen Besuch wert. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft jedem, der Ruhe sucht und trotzdem Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen geboten haben möchte.

We have stayed in about 30 AirBnBs but this was our favorite. The rooms caught the morning sunshine through to the evening sunset, everything was so spacious and comfortable. The location was blissful, yet within an easy drive of Vaxholm and Stockholm. Supermarket close by. We all felt so relaxed.

Zeer mooie omgeving en prachtige ligging met zeezicht van 2 kanten. mooie en meerdere terassen. Wij zijn een gezin van 6 pers met 4 jong volwassenen en dat was wat krap. Het slapen op het zetelbed was niet ideaal. Voor wie rust en zee wil is dit perfect. Wij waren helemaal ontspannen. wel opletten dat je de laatste ferry haalt want de tapijten varen ook niet meer na 18.00u!

Unique location ! Such an amazing place with its private jetty First time in Sweden and we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of this tiny island, explore other islands and visite the City, which isn't that far Erika responded quickly to all our questions and was really helpful Thank you ☺️

The location in Södermalm was perfect—close to great restaurants, cafes, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Karolina was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again!! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Stockholm! Makes your stay worth it!!

Best stay ever!!! Es war unglaublich schön, sodass ich spontan noch eine Woche verlängert habe. Das Haus ist so niedlich, gemütlich, perfekt ausgestattet und außergewöhnlich sauber! Bei Ankunft haben mir Robert und Diana die Umgebung gezeigt. Die beiden sind so herzlich und vor Ort und per Nachricht immer erreichbar und unglaublich hilfsbereit. Sie geben super Tipps für Unternehmungen, Restaurants etc. Der See ist wirklich direkt vor der Tür, sehr sauber und toll zum Schwimmen. Ich konnte mir das SUP jederzeit leihen. Auch das Meer ist nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Ich werde die Tage dort niemals vergessen und bin sehr wehmütig abgereist. Ich hatte selten eine so perfekte Unterkunft! DANKE!

Det var en meget positiv oplevelse at bo i Pärs lejlighed i Stockholm. Vi blev taget godt imod af underboen, som gav os en rundvisning og var behjælpelig med spørgsmål. Lejligheden var meget større end vi troede, og virkelig hyggelig. Alt var pænt og rent. Der var sørget godt for os med sengetøj, rene håndklæder, turistbrochurer og en flaske bobler i køleskabet. Vi følte os meget velkomne! Lejligheden ligger meget centralt og i gåafstand til centrum. Der var fred og ro på gaden. Restaurant Lille Capri i stueetagen var et skønt sted, hvor vi spiste 3 gange. Her fik vi super service! Alt i lejligheden var i den skønneste orden, og Pär var hurtig til at svare, hvis vi havde spørgsmål undervejs. Tusind tak til Pär for godt værtskab - vi vil varmt anbefale denne bolig til andre.

The appartment was very well-equipped and perfect for one person during a long stay (one month). Birgitta and Anders are nice and caring hosts; the communication was friendly and easygoing. Issues with the internet connection were shared and quickly resolved. Gribbylund is a lovely neighborhood and the appartement is only 5min from a beautiful lake (which was frozen when I arrived, adding to the overall area's appeal). Walk trails are also available nearby in Täby. Groceries can be done in Täby Centrum (around 40min by foot): a Lidl and KFC are at around the same distance. A ICA store is located closer but I did not check it out. As a note, the ceiling is not specifically soundproof, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to occasional noise (the main house is located upstairs and the garage is at the door). Appartement très bien placé, à 10 minutes à pied du métro, restaurant et magasins d’alimentation. Le métro nous amène en 5 min au centre-ville et à la gare centrale. La proximité du canal offre des possibilités de promenades ou de course à pied entouré des habitants du quartier. Au pied de l’immeuble se trouve un chouette café avec possibilité de se restaurer, que nous pouvons que recommander. L’appartement est spacieux, confortable, conforme à la description. Vincenzo a été très réactif et disponible.

Wir haben zu viert eine Woche in dem Haus von Patrick und Karin auf Edholma verbracht und sehr genossen. Edholma ist eine wunderschöne autofreie und naturnahe Insel, auf der man sich wirklich auf völlige Entspnnung fokussieren kann. Auch das Haus ist gemacht, um sich darin einfach nur wohl zu fühlen. Es ist total modern und stilvoll eingerichtet, sauber und sehr geräumig. Wenn man auch die Stadt kennenlernen und erkunden möchte, kommt man mit der Fähre problemlos nach Vaxholm (circa 5 Minuten) und Stockholm (circa 1 Stunde 20 Minuten). Die Fähren fahren zwar nicht zu oft durch die wunderschönen schwedischen Schärengärten, wenn man sich aber über die Fahrpläne informiert, ist die Planung kein Problem. Wir haben dazu die SL-App verwendet. Sollte es trotzdem noch Fragen oder kleine Problemchen geben, ist die Kommunikation mit Gastgeber Patrick einwandfrei und bemerkenswert schnell verlaufen. Wir haben die Zeit in Schweden wirklich sehr genossen und würden gerne mal zurückkehren.

Beautiful place to stay outside the city. Ferry jetty Riset is a lovely 20 min walk along the water (check timetables carefully- they are displayed at the jetty). Download the transport app to buy tickets. The boats take you straight into the centre of the city. House was warm and cosy to return to each day with good kitchen facilities. We loved watching the boats. Stockholm is a beautiful city. The museum for the Vasa ship is fantastic. Enjoyed golf at Siggesta. We visited Vaxholm on the ferry expecting some good hiking but it wasn’t really the best place for that. Antonio’s Italian cafe in Nacka Strand was brilliant for a meal before heading to the airport. A great space for our family (2 children age 11 and 14).

Vi trivdes så jättebra i den här härliga stugan. Vi kände oss hemma, området är så lugnt och ändå nära ett fint café, havet, mataffären, äventursbad många vandringsleder och inte långt in i Stockholm. Ann-Kristin och Ragnar hjälpte med allt vi behövde och gjorde uppehållet så mysigt. Tack för allt, vi kommer så gärna tillbaka.

Peter and Malin were wonderful hosts that were always very responsive to our texts and last minute requests! Their place was spotless, cozy and has a very well equipped kitchen. The highlight of our stay was the hot tub that overlooked the sunset and the sea. It was the perfect 2-night getaway destination!

Wir hatten wundervolle und erholsame 2 Wochen in dieser Unterkunft. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Sea Cottage, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Lage ist traumhaft und der direkte und private Zugang zum Wasser lädt zum Schwimmen und Kayak fahren ein. Wir konnten uns hier in der Natur gut entspannen und gleichzeitig war Stockholm mit Sightseeing und Shopping bequem mit der Fähre oder dem Auto erreichbar. Man hat hier also alles, um einen schönen Urlaub zu erleben. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, entspannt und diskret. Vielen Dank für diesen perfekten Urlaub!

A great very well-equipped little house with a fantastic view of the sea. We would like to come back at any time.

Very cool place to stay close to stockholm to experience the quite "postcard sweden" but at the same time you can get to the centre of stockholm in about 30 minutes. We used the row boats all the time - very quick, independent and natural way to get to the island. The cabin is cozy, clean and has all the essentials you need. It was a super relaxing stay and we really enjoyed it.

Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit in dem kleinen Häuschen bei Sofia. Das Haus strahlt einen unglaublichen Charme aus und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Ein wirkliches Juvel, was sehr liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Es war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Wir können das Häuschen auch für den Winterurlaub sehr empfehlen, der Ofen bringt die nötige Wärme nach kalten Schneetagen. An unserem Abreisetag durften wir sogar länger bleiben. :) Insgesamt war die Kommunikation mit Sofia sowohl im Chat als auch persönlich sehr nett. Sie hat uns ihre Hilfe angeboten, hilfreiche Tipps gegeben, aber auch die Privatsphäre geachtet. Auch war die Lage für uns ideal. Es war sehr ruhig mit vielen Wandermöglichkeiten in der nahen Umgebung, die wir innerhalb weniger Minuten mit dem Bus erreichen konnten. Auch die Bus-und Fähranbindung nach Stockholm ist sehr gut. Infos zu Bussen und Fähren sind in der SL App einfach einzusehen. Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub, auch oder gerade wegen dieser tollen Unterkunft
