Beautiful Log Mountain Home with a View

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

The location is great for those wanting to enjoy Durango (20 mi) and Pagosa (50 mi) . If you are into fishing, hiking, hunting, paddle boarding, etc. this spot is perfect (there are many lakes nearby). The house is also right between Purgatory Resort (one hour north) and Wolf Creek Ski Area (one hour south).

A cute cabin with an ideal location. It is easy to find, and it is just off the county road with plenty of parking space. Vallecito Lake is directly across the street as well as the boat marina where you can rent a pontoon, kayak, paddle board, and more. The front porch offers beautiful views of the mountain and lake, and you can also enjoy the lakeside view from the dining table. Durango is about 25 minutes from Durango during the summer and about 35 to 40 min during the winter.
