Located quarter of a mile from the Village of Portmagee where boats leave for the famous Skellig Rock

The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

Seaside Cottage in beautiful Glanleam on Valentia

Our Seaside Cottage is a wonderfully comfortable, spacious, bright and airy place. The beach is only a 3 minute walk away, the Light house about 10. Geese and chickens (and in Spring pet lambs) will be passing by your double door, while you are having your breakfast. If you feed them they will keep you company - their eggs are delicious! Donkeys Salem and Rolo, escape artists, should be in the field in front of the cottage, but they might just be having a little wander...

A quiet place to relax after a long day travelling. Go for walks in the countryside or on the local Reenroe beach during the day and gaze up at the stars at night. This is a spacious open plan apartment with en suite bathroom. Light and airy, with kitchen containing fridge, cooker, smart TV and Wi fi (50MB). A comfortable double bed awaits you after your journey or a days sightseeing. The apartment is accessed by stairs so is unsuitable for disabled or wheelchair users

Portmagee is a picturesque fishing village located on the Skellig ring along the Wild Atlantic Way. A space to relax, enjoy breathtaking views and peaceful sleep.

Set on a gentle slope, with panoramic views down to Dingle Bay and across to the Ivreagh peninsula, and the Conor Pass at the rear, our house is a quiet and restful place. The field on one side has an ancient 'standing stone' and looks towards the village of Lispole . On the other side is Dingle, 4km away with its sheltered harbour. In the fields on the headland opposite and nearby there are ring forts and standing stones.

A road to the shore is just 1km away, while stunning cliffs for walkers are about 2km off. Portmagee and Knights Town are just a 4-minute drive. The monastic Skellig Island (a Star Wars filming location) is a quick boat ride from Portmagee. We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs during your stay. 🐕
