The house is well suited for a writer’s retreat, a romantic getaway, or a home base for exploring three nearby ski areas and two rivers. Guests are invited to a complimentary wine tasting at Vivac Winery. There are plenty of options for local hikes, or easy day trips to the museums and galleries of Taos and Santa Fe.

Farmhouse Casita in scenic Llano San Juan 10 minutes off the High Road to Taos. Full kitchen and bath with washer dryer. Private fenced yard with garden, patio table and lounge chair. Fire pit with wood. Spectacular mountain views and 10 farm acres to roam. Pets are OK but only small dogs inside. (kennel and/or fenced yard available for bigger dogs or ones that shed profusely). Designated parking space and room for RVs. High speed Wifi is available.

This little cabin is nestled in the pines with spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. If you are interested in hiking or exploring, this is the perfect place, or you can simply relax and enjoy some quite solitude on the mountain.
