Welcome to the river house, our little slice of central Texas heaven! Here you’ll find a comfy, secluded, private home on the banks of the Medina river, located 45 minutes outside of San Antonio and a short 15 minute drive to Bandara. This recently renovated two bedroom all rock home has a bonus room, a large full bath, spare half bath, and everything a family could need to enjoy a great trip to the Medina river. The river is very family friendly and 100 yards directly in front of the house.

Sitting on the banks of the Sabinal River just outside the quaint town of Utopia, Popie’s Place is a great spot for your next hill country adventure! This unique home sits up high on stilts giving you a great view of the huge bald cypress trees that line the river. Charming 100+ yr old ranch house on 40 private acres with great views and live creek access. Secluded & private. No neighbors. Large patio & fenced back yard are guest favorites, great for kids/pets. Excellent star gazing, bird watching, scenic views. We use this home ourselves and have young kids, so it is stocked way better than most rentals and (relatively) kid friendly. Near Lost Maples Park (8 min), Garner Park (30 min), Utopia (10 min), Leakey (20 min), Medina (20 min).
