IDLEWILD: A High Mountain Log Cabin 🏔

Our traditional log cabin is perfect for a long weekend getaway. Built in 1994 and located in the Pike National Forest our cabin boasts amazing views. Best suited for 4 people. 25 miles to Breckenridge, footsteps away from hiking , and short drive from world class fly fishing this cabin is suited for every outdoor adventure or simply relaxing in front of the wood burning stove or on the wrap around deck. This cabin has cell/high speed internet service, which can be hard to come by in the area.

This is an authentic cabin that was one of the first built in the area and has been lovingly restored with attention to detail and a cozy ambiance. 1 pet is allowed w/ $20 nightly fee. We welcome you to stay in our guest house: A renewed log cabin on three acres at BV's western edge. This quiet, in-town location is a good base for Arkansas Valley activities. A few miles east of us is Cottonwood Pass with hot springs, hiking, snowshoeing, etc. Or, bike or walk a mile to the east for restaurants and shopping, the Arkansas River and Fourmile trail complex beyond. Note: There are many pet-friendly options nearby, but we do our best to provide an allergen-free studio for guests.

Licensed through the Land County Land Use License #2025-P12, allowing 4 guests only. Please DO NOT bring additional guests. No cleaning fee. Winter guests: Easy access to town. The county plows the road, still we recommend AWD or 4WD for all winter travel. Please read “other things to note” before booking.
