Our Cabin is a perfect mountain get away. Whether you're visiting nearby Twain Harte Lake, Pinecrest, Yosemite or just wanting to relax & enjoy sitting on the back deck with a glass of wine; You'll find our home a very relaxing and quiet stay with a short 4 min walk to town! In the winters enjoy a huge wood burning fire place and watch the snow fall in the big picturesque front windows & tall open beamed ceiling. We are located in a quiet neighborhood to decompress from the hustle and bustle.

You will be staying in a lovely warm comfortable studio complete with a wee fridge, microwave and all you need to enjoy a light meal. You can relax outside on a private deck absorbing the sounds and sights of nature or you can take a five minute walk into the quaint village of Twain Harte where you can enjoy an espresso, many delicious restaurants and unique shops. October in the Sierra foothills! Fantastic weather. Yosemite is open despite gov shutdown. We are a 1 hour and 50 min drive to the entrance gate. Oak Nest Cottage is a quiet retreat on 5 wooded acres. The humble cottage is 600 sq feet. Super clean and efficient. The private and quiet cottage includes a kitchenette, bathroom w/ shower, deck, carport and a loft bedroom w/ air cooler. It is comfortably romantic for 2 , safe & affordable.
