We are in easy reach of some of NZ's' most stunning hikes. An Easy 35 minutes to Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro Crossing, plus local river walks, supermarket and eateries 10 mins. Welcome to our little part of paradise, fully self contained cosy cottage, with off street parking, 5 minutes walk to the local marina and lake, stopping off for brekkie or lunch at the local cafe. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and high tea at The Chateau. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.

Ski fields, tramping and Tongariro Crossing are only 45 minutes away. Taupo is just over half an hour away to the North. Accommodation is situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac.

Self check in We offer a lovely quiet & private stand alone, self contained studio on a rear fully fenced section, you have your own space, perfect for couples, babies catered for too Continental breakfast is included, we don't do gluten/dairy free. We have recently installed a cedar hot tub, our guests have exclusive use of this anytime during the stay. It is not available to friends or family of our guests.

Our architectural award winning home with lake views in Motuoapa is near the southern end of the lake. Built in 2007, 45 minutes from Whakapapa skifield, close to numerous trout fishing rivers and 500m from the Motuoapa marina and boat ramp on Lake Taupo. There are 3 heat pumps and a gas fire for your comfort. Property is 30 minutes from Taupo nearer to Turangi (Airbnb show it on Taupo searches)
