Set out on an adventure and return to a retreat of peace and relaxation just 54 miles to Yosemite National Park west entrance (additional 25 miles to Valley), 30 minutes to Dodge Ridge Ski Resort and Pincrest Lake. Good places to visit are Yosemite, Kennedy Meadows, Pinecrest Lake, New Melones Lake, Columbia, Sonora, Twain Harte, Rail Town!

Newly renovated (2018) above garage loft with its own private entrance via a spiral staircase. Large deck w/ outdoor seating, bathroom & small kitchenette w/ microwave/mini fridge/keurig (NO stove/oven). Above garage loft is attached to our main house via a staircase w/ locked door. We are 90min to Yosemite entrance GATE, 135min to Valley Floor *depending on traffic: summer = busier. Peak hour park reservations may be required. 35 min. to Pinecrest Lake & Dodge Ski. 7 min. to Black Oak Casino

Twain Harte Mountain Retreat

Get away from it all and relax in this beautiful Sierra Nevada mountain setting. Spacious, clean, quiet & secluded 1.5 miles from downtown Twain Harte. The apartment is on bottom floor with a separate entrance, full kitchen & 1 bedroom with queen bed. Near hiking trails, 20 min. drive to Pinecrest Lake, 35 minutes to Dodge Ridge & skiing, local wineries, snow play, State Parks, Caverns and more. Twain Harte has a golf course, Disc golf course, tennis & pickle ball, mini golf course & more.

The entire upstairs is very roomy and peaceful. 2 bedrooms with queens, large TV room with 5th person extra-long single bed. A kitchenette and newly remodeled bathroom. BIG wraparound porch to enjoy the garden. Historic Gold Rush towns, wineries, lakes, rivers, and winter sports are nearby. Yosemite's Highway 120 entrance is just a 1 1/2 hour drive away. The fall colors are spectacular for a hike up scenic Highway 88! Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If your travel journeys include both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 1/2 from Tahoe)
