We had such a perfect stay at Camp Chicory. I’d traveled there along with three old friends, and it was a wonderful spot to spend time in and reconnect. We had grand plans to take advantage of outdoor winter adventures in the Poconos, but when the weather was uncooperative, we were more than happy to just stay inside all day instead! The kitchen has everything you’d need for lots of cooking, with a cute mug collection to enjoy that hot chocolate bar. The shower pressure was magical, and the beds were super comfortable. Oh how we loved the eclectic record collection, and only wished we’d had time to enjoy more of it! But truly, the MVP of our weekend was the wood burning stove, which provided the perfect cozy atmosphere to enjoy quality time with friends. Moira and her team were top notch communicators, both before and during our stay — always available with a quick response to answer our questions. Believe the reviews — you won’t be disappointed. I wish I were back there right now!

We had a wonderful stay at David’s place in Long Pond! The house was beautifully updated, very comfortable, and had plenty of space for our group—two kids under 10, and four adults (parents and grandparents). The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view with a small private beach and access to paddle boats, kayaks, canoe, and a dock—perfect for both quiet mornings and family fun. The backyard was incredibly picturesque, surrounded by beautiful foliage that made it feel like a private retreat. We really appreciated thoughtful touches like the shed stocked with life vests and beach toys, as well as the outdoor fire stove. Inside, the game room was a hit—especially the Nintendo 64 and air hockey table, which kept everyone entertained. We couldn’t have asked for a better spring break getaway. Thanks, David, for being a great and communicative host!

I stayed here with 6 friends, the place was very homey. I loved the cute little accents to the house that provided a vibe like no other! The bedrooms were so comfortable. Going to local stores was not much of a hassle. The home has pots and pans, and cooking utensils if it is ever needed. There is a cute lake 4 minutes of a walk to sit down on the ledge and dip your feet in for a nice relaxation. We were not able to use the lake for swimming purposes due to the weather, but it is a great place if you want a weekend getaway or that of some sort with a group of close friends and family. Samantha was more than great at accommodating, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service to us! We appreciate her attentiveness and all around care during our stay. Thank you Samantha for your hospitality.

My friend and I had a great time staying here! The house is cozy, beautifully decorated, and very clean. There were so many things to do in the area and on the property—we just didn’t have enough time to experience it all. It was a great spot to relax and unwind. While everything went smoothly and there were no major issues, there's just a tiny bit of room for improvement. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Had a wonderful stay! The property is right across from the lake and the view was breathtaking! Great location to visit many of the beautiful hiking trails in the area. One of the must haves for our trip was access to a golf cart and Mamta made sure it was on the property, ready for us when we arrived. Peaceful, relaxing, Pocono, retreat!

We really enjoyed our stay! Very peaceful location with a beautiful view of the lake. The house was clean and cozy, and the hot tub was awesome!

Kevin was an incredible host! He answered all of our questions promptly and was extremely flexible with anything we needed. The house was also very clean and amazing for a big group of 11 people. The hot tub and pool table were a great addition. When we went the private beach wasn’t open yet, but even that looked like so much fun. We’ll be back to experience the beach and lake when it’s warmer!

No nonsence house with tranquil immediate surrounding and close proximity to ski slops. Great for couple of days of mountain ski trip.

This lake house was so beautiful, so clean, so well stocked. The kitchen was definitely the best stocked kitchen of any STR I've visited. Having access to kayaks and paddleboards and being right on the lake was an incredible amenity. We look forward to coming back!

A very clean, comfortable and well equipped place! we had peaceful family time kayaking, enjoying the view of the water, and it was also cool enough to enjoy the sauna! Great wifi to also do some work calls as well. Kitchen and grills well equipped for simple enjoyable family cooking and meals. The projector TV was great for family movie night. Fire pit was beautiful for s'mores. Bathrooms w great hot water/water pressure. Beds comfortable! We would love to return. We were very happy at the home and thus we did not try any community amenities. Hosts were responsive!

The cabin itself is cute and quaint. The waterfront property is so beautiful and very peaceful. James was kind and shared ideas for favorite local spots. We didn't need anything during our stay, but I'm sure we could've contacted James if we had questions or needed anything, as he was kind and helpful in other interactions. Would that I could live there myself! This property is truly a special little slice of the world.

This was a beautiful home, right on the lake. It was perfect for our friend group's annual ski trip!

We had my friends bachlorette getaway weekend at this airbnb! There was plenty of space for us to hang out in the living room and eat meals all together. What an amazing stay!

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our week at this peaceful lakehouse. The house itself was clean and comfortable, kitchen renovations are beautiful and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. Linens were plentiful and soft, not always the case for vacation rentals. We appreciated the picturesque views from the main upper floor on rainy and sunny days alike. The private beach and cool stone fire pit were well-used and an added bonus. My husband enjoyed fishing off the dock and grilling outside. Our kids enjoyed the access to nature on the property, it felt very private and serene, a contrast to our usual city life. James was very responsive and informative both before and during our stay. My stay was really great and peaceful. Ilya was super responsive and accommodating both with check in and check out times. When a miscommunication occurred, he made sure to resolve the issue asap. Having the river in the backyard was amazing. You can walk along it or in it which was very refreshing. Plus I made use of the basketball hoop, hammock, and exercise ladder. The swing hanging from the tree was a great photo op :) The fire pit was a vibe at night with the water and sunset in the background. Though the indoor space was small, it was neat and usable for 2 people. It was nice having an outdoor seating option. Overall, the stay was very pleasant and I spent much of the time in the outdoors, nearby hikes and on the property itself relaxing. ~ Faiga S
