We look forward to welcoming you to Ballincard House! Take a step back in time and enjoy the charm of your private apartment located on the second floor of our 19th Century Georgian home. If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

Apartment 2 @ Busy Bee

This unique 270-year-old building brought back to life by your hosts Caroline and Paul, has a style all of its own. Its modern interiors and historic surroundings blend, to give tranquility to its guests after a day of discovery in the surrounding countryside. Our local shops & pubs cater for all your requirements and our town playground can give the little ones hours of fun. For a work stopover, we have free parking, WIFI, a workstation on request, a comfortable bed, and a hot shower.

Located in the heart of the midlands along the Grand Canal greenway in the scenic village of Pullough, Situated just 15 kilometres from Tullamore Town and 25 Kilometres from Athlone making it an ideal location to explore all the best midlands attractions from Lough Boora Parklands, Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery, Birr Castle Demesne, Clonmacnoise and the Slieve Bloom Mountains with a vast selection of scenic hiking trails and over 80 kilometres of mountain bike trails.

Gurteen Cottage, Glenbarrow, Slieve Bloom Mountain

Rural setting at the bottom of the Slieve Blooms in Rosenallis, this cottage provides an ideal escape to the country. This self catering property is 5 mins from nearest town. Beautiful views. Suitable for walking & cycling with Glenbarrow waterfall within walking distance. Portlaoise & Tullamore 20 mins drive. Private entrance with ample parking. Outdoor picnic area and garden. Dogs are welcome.

Cornaher

The apartment in Cornaher is on a commercial farm. It was originally an old outbuilding. The apartment is basic but very warm and cosy. We are still working on the grounds and the apartments are very close to the farm. It is located between Kilbeggan and Tyrrellspass on the old Dublin road. The previous occupants were working on a new solar farm and stayed for a few months.
