Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

Heidi’s Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

The camp was built with 100% recycled materials and is equipped with 12 volt solar lighting system, WIFI, USB port and on demand gas geyser. There are no plugins for electrical appliances. We’re conveniently located just across the road from the Stettyn Family Vineyards tasting room, where you can enjoy award-winning wines and cheese platters. Outdoor lovers will appreciate the MTB and running trails, as well as our tranquil dam, ideal for bass fishing or birding.

Vleidam in Koringberg is the peaceful getaway you've been searching for. With panoramic views of the richly fertile farmlands, Vleidam Guest Farm is tranquil, country-living for the whole family. On arrival guests get freshly home baked bread with home made jam. There is milk and filtered water in the fridge; home made rusks in a jar and coffee, sugar and tea.
