Beautiful place that felt like home right away. The Thurston Crew were friendly and easy to work with. We loved our little weekend away on their property. This was everything I wanted from an Airbnb, great hosts, clean house, gorgeous surroundings, and some peace and quiet. Loved grilling on the porch, laying around in the sunny yard, and spending late nights talking with friends on the several couches in the living room. Came away feeling refreshed and with a new appreciation for Airbnb and the Trinidad area itself. Our group is already talking about making another trip out to the Thirston’s place.

The Orchard Garden Cottage

I've been to La Veta many times, but the first I have stayed at the Cottage. I was delighted! I had my Mom and six-year-old Lab Remmi with me, and we all loved it! Right across from the park, within walking to shops and restaurants. We had several inches of snow, but that just made cottage cozier! I appreciate the host's willingness to allow a dog, and we're already making plans for a return golf weekend trip! They really pretty much have anything you would need, with tons of local information. The yard was beautiful with flowers, before the snow, and having it fenced it was great for us. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

this was such a wonderful place to stay, the home is incredibly charming. we were all able to unwind after a long day on the road. we loved the enclosed porch with its own heater. Zach recommended a lovely pizza place in town also.

Great place to stay! Very relaxing and such a neat experience staying in a historic home in a great location close to everything! Great host and very responsive to any needs we had or questions! This made our stay enjoyable and relaxing! We needed a place that was large enough for our family, we had to travel to Trinidad for a funeral. This was a nice place that accommodated everyone, so thank you!

Brand New Tiny home #1 ! Mountainous view! Quiet!

We loved staying at this tiny home! It was exactly as pictured, the bed was so comfortable and the sheets smelt like fresh laundry. Everything is very modern and nice, WiFi works great on the smart TV! Really impressed. They even baked us fresh chocolate chip cookies that we wasted no time eating! We will recommend this place to everyone.

We only have great things to say about our stay. The house was beautiful, the area was quiet and private. No issues with check-in, and there were clear instructions both through chat and in the binder left at the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Modern Tranquil River Home w/Hot Tub

Literally my favorite Airbnb stay to date. We loved everything about the place. It was gorgeous, and homey, but not cluttered. It was spotlessly clean. Very cool art. A lot of bnbs are very dated, kind of dirty because they're older, super cheap dollar store dishes and silverware, you get one towel (you might steal a second towel!) and this experience was the polar opposite. It felt luxury. What a fantastic place.

I stayed at this lovely studio for an extended stay and it was wonderful. Modern, clean, beautiful art, everything you could need. Mark & Tanya are excellent hosts. Hot tub was a great feature. Deer walked up to the door a couple times. It was peaceful and tucked away, yet close to the town of LaVeta. 5/5

Absolutely perfect! Our host, Amanda, was so helpful, from weather conditions and snow impact to the area, to what pots are available to cook a Thanksgiving turkey in. We love the solitude and privacy, in the most beautiful place on this planet! A peaceful respite to a hectic city life, this house was comfy and cozy with stary skies and a running river close by. The perfect vacation get away...if you really want to get away from it all.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it was perfect! Extremely clean, beautiful views, and we love the little town! You HAVE to check out Legends on Main if you stay here the breakfast is delicious! We will definitely be back.

We were very grateful to find this quirky home when another AirBNB cancelled on us at the last minute right before a bleak snow storm. We arrived to a lovely warm house and had fun playing some old LP records. We woke to a decent blanket of snow, which didn't seem to bother the three deer nibbling at the trees right outside the kitchen window. All in all very tranquil.

First of all, Daniela was an exceptional host! She was extremely kind, gracious, and responsive during our entire stay. Best host we have ever encountered! As for the cabin…simply AMAZING!! It was impeccably clean and well stocked (they thought of everything). If you arrived with only the clothes on your back you would be more than comfortable 🙂 The view is spectacular, one of a kind! There are hiking trails nearby and the walk into the quaint town center was enjoyable. The town center has a park, tennis courts, small basketball court, and playground for guests with children. There are also a few restaurants, to include a dog-friendly one, and a country store. You WILL NOT find a better place to stay in the entire area; WE WILL BE BACK😉 Thank you to our gracious hosts for a truly wonderful stay!!

We had a wonderful stay at Jani's place! The house was perfect, clean, inviting, and the view was amazing from the back yard! We would definitely recommend and stay again!
