Det er gode forhold for havfiske, stisykkling, og toppturer og observering av nordlys. Lite lysforurensing. Vinterstid er det skiløype rett ved hytten og mange fjelltopper for randone som er innen rekkevidde. Mulighet for leie av båt for fiske av Senja Arctic logde eller Senja Fjordhotell (må bookes seperat).

Badet et innredet med Cinderella forbrenningstoalett og Cinderella urinal, dusjkabinett og servant . Det er åpen stue/kjøkkenløsning og på stuen er det TV. Har internett. Om det er midtnattsol eller nordlys - det blir aldri kjedelig å se på havet, fjellene og dyrelivet langs Bergsfjorden. Hytta var ferdig høsten 2018 og har høy standard.
