Fantastic stay! A lovely break from hectic life! The hot tub was perfect temperature, size with a great view The pod had everything we possibly needed and the space was used well. Great shower and kitchen facilities. Will definitely be coming back!

A beautiful retreat for 2 very peaceful nights away with my wife and our two Labradors. The retreat is very private and quiet but only a 5 minute drive from town and a 10 minute walk to the local pub. Our dogs made full use of the field as we made full use of the hot tub.

Such a magical weekend, thank you for having us! It was so peaceful and the animals were all so beautiful (even if the alpacas were a bit cheeky) The hottub made a fabulous finish to each evening under the stars. We will definitely be coming again!

We just spent 2 nights at Fred and Charlotte's glamping retreat - and what a weekend! In a peaceful and private location, the accommodation is beautifully clean, well-equipped and was absolutely perfect for our group of 14! Especially loved the hot tub, fire pit area, spacious kitchen/ dining room and the on-site bar! We even had a yoga class in the field alongside the surrounding cows and horses! I would highly recommend to any other large groups looking for somewhere to stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Lizzy's place was wonderful. We were only there for a weekend and I would love to go back for a longer stay. There was plenty of space and the hot tub was a bonus. The property is also close to some very pretty villages and towns - highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay the night before our wedding. Stephanie was having some renovation work completed on the property and upgraded us to her larger property which was so kind and such a treat for us all. The house was stunning and our guests felt the same. Thank you so much!

Just got home from a lovely, relaxing stay here. Met up with 5 friends who now live all over the country and this was a great, central location. Tom met us as we arrived and showed us how everything worked. House was clean with some quirky lamps, each bedroom had an en-suite plus kettle and cups. The hot tub was a perfect addition. Lost many an hour chatting away while sat in it. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely remote hideaway location. Not far from Kings Cliffe and lots of walking routes right from the door! Great stay and would highly recommend!

We've had a wonderful stay at the Old Forge. The cottage is very cosy and homely with enough space to spread out. The cottage is set in a beautiful village with a lovely pub in, and a great spot to start a good country walk. Our doggies also loved being at the cottage!

Patricia was very warm and welcoming. She was able to provide everything we needed for our stay. the place was well located and convenient to visit local attractions.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Jill’s place is very comfy and just as described in the listing. We had everything we needed and the setting was just beautiful. The tennis court was really top quality as well. Easy access to Chipping Campden and other towns in the Cotswolds

It was a privilege to be able to stay in such a beautiful setting. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding countryside. Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Although not Sians issue, construction near the train station makes it difficult to get into town by taxi because you have to go around the city. However, if you don’t mind walking and bicycling, there are exceptional bike and walking paths right out to the house from Oxford. I’d stay again in a heart beat.

The house was lovely, had everything you could possibly think of for a comfortable stay. We stayed with three kids (one baby) and it was just perfect. Our kids LOVED the pool (super warm and Just right for the kids) and the games room. The welcome basket was amazing and super generous- best gift ever!

Lovely place to stay with great facilities. Super host. Loved the small touches such as the access to children’s toys and wine on arrival. Fantastic views . We loved that we could watch the animals. The place felt very private and was in a great location to visit nearby towns. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Veronica and husband were great when i arrived for check in and then on hand if needed (which was hardly needed) gave me an excellent recommendation for a local walk which was brilliant. accomodation had so much character and was perfect for what we wanted it for.

I’d like to thank gardener Rex for answering all my questions throughout my stay. Without you Rex, it could have been tricky to communicate. Anyway, I and my family had a good time at Christopher’s place. It’s a place for both peaceful break or active sporting time. Great garden for a calm walk throughout a day, great pool with a hammam(a steam sauna), a tennis court…my family really enjoyed all the facilities. Also kitchen was really well equipped and a welcome bread and milk were delicious! Location was also great. Famous Cotswold big name spots, restaurants, farm markets are within 20 min by car.

Had the most wonderful 3 nights in Cow Pen Cottage. Perfect location with a fantastic farm shop (Cobbs) next door selling fabulous top quality local produce to make wonderful breakfasts with. Wendy was so helpful, giving very clear instructions and points of interest to visit. The cottage is quaint & full of character but still has all the mod cons necessary. Wendy gave us a lovely warm welcome with strawberries & prosecco and chocolates by the bed. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean and a very welcome addition each day. There were so many attractions within a very short drive and that made Cow Pen Cottage the perfect base to explore Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds. We will definately be back some day.
