The Stables: Cozy cottage with views and a hot tub

A very cozy detached cottage with incredible views over the rolling Welsh countryside. The open plan living space comprises of a Kitchen with full amenities, a sitting room, with a comfy sofa and a log burner. The bedroom has a very comfy King Size bed and a TV. The bathroom boasts a large shower and a double-ended roll top slipper bath. Outside is a large decking area with your own personal Hot Tub to relax in after taking on some of the many walks in the areas.

The Rest. Quiet, private, and perfectly formed.

Set on Bedwas mountain, 5 minutes from the historic Caerphilly Castle and with convenient and direct links to the cosmopolitan city of Cardiff, only 20 minutes away, with its theatres, music and sporting venues, “The Rest”, is a self-contained detached annex that can accommodate up to 2 persons comfortably. Located close to St Barrwgs church, and only a 5 minute walk to Bedwas village it is conveniently located to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Self-contained Mountain-top Retreat

Bwthyn Bach (little cottage) is our beautiful, self-contained studio, boasting incredible sunset views of the Brecon Beacons and Pen-y-Fan from your bedside. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway, with patio and garden facilities accessible. Breakfast basics are included with fresh eggs from our hens when available Please be aware that this is only accessible by a single tarmac track that winds up the mountain. Access in the winter can be limited.

Gwyn Lodge

A self contained bungalow comprising of a bathroom with a bath and a shower, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen diner including a washing machine, iron with ironing board, an electric cooker, microwave and a fridge freezer. A spacious bedroom with a double bed and a suitable laptop work space / dressing table with a hairdryer. The bungalow is well situated on the grounds of our main house and has off road parking is available.

Cosy Stable @ Oak Farm

A cosy and tranquil converted stable in our courtyard, perfect for a weekend getaway among the Welsh countryside. We are close to so many incredible places to visit and are a short drive away to good restaurants, pubs and shops. We provide a freshly made loaf of bread on arrival and milk, butter and home made marmalade & jam. Also tea and coffee. There is also a pub serving good within walking distance.
