Victor is a very responsive host and the apartment is set up with all the basics I need for a short work trip

This place was amazing! Spacious, bright and inviting. An awesome spot for families or a few couples! We would definitely stay again.

Hands down the best Airbnb experience I’ve had yet! This upstairs apartment was perfect for a visit with my adult children to visit my daughter and nephew at KU. The location was perfect and so was the apartment. We were able to grill out and cook in breakfast Easter morning. Our hosts were genuinely kind and welcoming to us. We were encouraged to use the yard for our Easter egg hunt and grilling out. We will definitely try to book here for future visits. It was homey and comfortable. We felt like guests, not renters.

There’s no place like it. Sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings watching the river and sometimes an eagle is so relaxing. And then the ability to walk downstairs for a burrito (on the weekends) or an ice tea or coffee with cinnamon roll is priceless. Thank you for hosting!

John was very responsive and helpful. We had a minor glitch at check-in and he immediately sprung into action and resolved everything. Upon seeing the wonderful service, the great location and the amazing interiors, we said to ourselves why did we not find this place and John as our host when our daughter was a freshman. I cannot understate how perfect this place is for situations where you need multiple bedrooms and a place to gather.

This was the perfect location for our family getaway- super close to all the food on Mass street. It is in a historic area so it is stunning to see the other homes. Benjamin was very friendly and was super lovely.

it was in a good location, Walmart around 2 miles. everything you need under 5 miles. Brian was on top of his game helping me with any issues. this place is great for long or short stays

Everything looked nice and cozy I appreciated the Keurig along with the towels and dishes provided and the WiFi! I did try my best to make sure not to leave a mess and hope I was a good guest as well!

Booking was incredibly easy and the host was very responsive from start to finish. The property is located just outside of town in the peaceful countryside, offering a relaxing overnight stay with the convenience of a quick return to town when needed. The area is spacious and well-kept, with a nice circle drive that made parking easy. We were traveling with our dogs, and they had plenty of room to roam. The nearby walking trail was perfect for a little outdoor time, and the presence of horses on the property added a charming, serene touch. One of the highlights of our stay was watching the gorgeous sunset—it was absolutely stunning and the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend, a perfect stop to rest and recharge. We’d definitely stay again!

Nicole was absolutely awesome. She was respectful and responsive. I had a couple issues with the property. The first issue i had was the location. Although it was across from the Base, I seen a lot of drug addicts around the area. I seen the same beat up cars circling the block or sitting in the parking lot talking to some of the people that appeared to be addicts. My second issue was the noise from upstairs. There was a lot of stomping and banging and screaming. My third issue was the couch. On the left side the back was loose which gave no support to my back. The toilet was loose but when I reported that, Nicole was quick to respond. All that said, I would stay again. I would give the host a 10/10 meanwhile I will give the property a 9/10 and location 4/10.

We enjoyed our stay this weekend. The property was clean and neat. Amit was very responsive, and quickly answered any questions that we had! We definitely will be staying again!

Tanya was a great host and was friendly. The Airbnb felt cozy yet spacious. The nature around the apartment was lovely to see, and how the area was quite private. Tanya let us know that we could contact her whenever and gave us great instructions when we first came into contact. If I find myself in Missouri again, then I would definitely want to book again!

Great location, very clean. and comfortable bed. We really liked all the small touches, complimentary toiletries, and snacks! Nice to have a washer & dryer we could use too. The price was great, we will definitely be back!

Great location for KU visit while having all the perks of Mass St. shops/restaurants/shopping steps away. Fun garage door open concept was perfect on a spring day and the Saturday farmers market right outside was a pleasant bonus. Once we mastered the parking app, things simplified- but it was a bit confusing at first as the app was having some technical issues with location. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and host was quickly responsive with some TV issues we had. We would definitely stay at The Happy Hawk again.

This place is in the heart of Lawrence. It’s a perfect location to walk to all the hot spots of college attractions. The apartment was clean and felt newer. Many small amenities like coffee bar and snacks. Well worth the amount paid.

We came to Lawrence to visit our daughter. This place was perfect for lounging in the evenings- family game night, movies, time to catch up. The couch is a pull out, so plenty of space. Darling Farmer’s Market in the parking lot Sat. mornings. Great location! We plan on booking again!

This was a great place to stay for my husband & I. Amanda & Layla thought of everything! Very comfortable king size bed, well stocked kitchen, comfortable couch, nice island with comfy barstools, etc. walkable to all the fun restaurants & boutiques on Mass St. We loved it so much that we’ll be staying there again very soon!
