Beautiful, charming, quiet retreat

Beautiful garden walkway leads you to a newly renovated guest house, with spectacular views from all windows. Wood floors, travertine kitchen counters, full kitchen / frig. and viking stove. Bathroom with Italian glass tile bath/shower and antique vanity with carrera marble. All cotton linens with down pillows and duvet. Antiques through out, with a large walk in closet. The is a queen size Murphy bed in the living room, in addition to the queen size bed in the bedroom. We are located in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, with magnificent hiking trails within walking distance. Some say that our little get away is located in the best kept secret in LA. It's private, quiet and tranquil yet only 15 minutes from Pacific Coast Hwy in Malibu and 10 minutes from the 101 freeway.

Casita Solstice

VERY PRIVATE location overlooking Solstice Canyon Park with ocean and mountain views. We are in a rural, quiet area close to Pepperdine University, Point Dume, Zuma Beach, City Center, Restaurants and Dining. You can surf, hike, visit local wineries, or just chill and enjoy the ambiance and natural landscape. You can inquire about your furry friends (pets - extra fee). Oak Forest Retreat

(Feb 2025- The Topanga village and homes were spared from the Palisades fire.) Topanga is a quiet village in the Santa Monica Mountains. Its name means “Where the mountains meet the sea”. We are in an ancient oak forest in beautiful nature just walking distance to Topanga State Park and its hiking trails. It’s only 10 min to the beach/Malibu and 20 min to Santa Monica/Venice or Woodland Hills. The town center with restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops and our library are close.

Charming 2BR/2BA Topanga Home

This knoll top home with canyon views off the front and back reflects my love of original art, travel, and the outdoors. We're unique in our location, privacy and vibe. Unlike a lot of Canyon homes, we get a lot of sunlight, from dawn to dusk. Past guests have commented the best time to enjoy the home is at sunset, hanging on the deck, letting the day wind down. We also enjoy being part of a independent minded community that relishes it's relationship with nature and privacy.

Topanga Art House - Close to Town & State Parks

Your private zen space with easy access to all that Topanga has to offer. Update for Topanga and the Palisades Fire: luckily the fire did not burn Topanga and our home was not affected. Everything in the canyon is open and damage free. There are some burn scars on the mountain, but it makes for quite a view. Topanga Canyon Boulevard from Topanga Lumber Yard going down to the beach / pacific coast highway is closed. Google Maps knows its way around the road closures.

There is street noise during the day but very quiet at night.

Enjoy Universal Studios, Hollywood or Malibu and return home to a private Cottage. French doors on a deck invite you to a charming flowered garden with a stunning mountain views. The Cottage is a totally private, free standing residence. The Valley is 10 minutes away. We are pet friendly and accept most dog breeds. The Cottage has a fully functional kitchen, great WIFI, its own washer and drier and private parking.
