This beautiful, traditional and historic farm house is filled with a richness of Irish culture, music and folklore. Lovingly restored using original flagstone and ash from trees on its own land. This home offers an unique experience to steep oneself in rare beauty. Filleadh na Fainleog is situated on the edge of the Burren just a 5 mins drive from the market town of Ennistymon and 8 mins from the seaside resort of Lahinch on the Wild Atlantic Way. The majestic Cliffs of Moher is 20 mins drive.

Tipperary and the trail is approximately 43 kilometres long. We are 5 minutes to Clare Glens, 10 minutes to Newport town and Murroe Village which hosts Glenstal Abbey, 34 minutes to Limerick city, 30 minutes to the scenic village of Killaloe,46 minutes to Shannon and 2 hours to Dublin Airport. We want to welcome you to our beautifully restored 2 storey 200 year old country lodge located 3 minutes drive from the pretty tourist village of Adare which is renowned for its thatched cottages, wide range of restaurants and pubs and a variety of shops and boutiques. This stand alone lodge is surrounded by its beautifully manicured lawns and gardens and has its own private entrance with ample parking. It is completely self contained and our guests will have complete privacy.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
