Mill House - Villa on Forgotten World Highway

This lovely villa was built in the early 1900’s by the McCluggage Family, who operated sawmills in the area. Their endeavors included the construction of a tunnel, in 1924, at the rear of the property to provide access to timber on the Whangamomona Saddle where it still remains today. Mill House is a fully furnished, four bedroom/one bathroom home that comfortably sleeps eight. Whether you are travelling through or looking to getaway, Mill House can provide you with tranquility and relaxation.

Waireka Apartment, situated in Ohakune in the Ruapehu District is a self contained 2 bedroom apartment each with a queen size bed, a large lounge with mountain views, kitchen and own spa pool. Spa Pool operates from 10am to 10pm Cleaning on departure is included in the rate. The mezzanine floor, accessed by a steep staircase, has a sofa, 42" TV , Freeview, DVD, WIFI. An extra 32" TV with Chrome-cast is downstairs.

This eco house generates its own electricity and is designed to capture the sun. It is a great base to do the Tongariro Crossing from.
