The cabin was absolutely lovely. So clean and cosy. Pleasantly surprised to find things like blankets, little led candles, big fluffy towels, lots of board games. It was very comfy and homely. The location was very peaceful. Not much for children to do outside the cabin itself, but we expected that - would recommend bringing bikes for kids. We had nice sunshine to enjoy the outdoor decking & seats to see the sun go down behind the trees. Jean was very friendly and quick to respond.

A peaceful countryside stay with amazing views and lovely animals — the horses and llamas made it extra special! The house was cozy and clean, and the Jerry was very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely return

A lovely home from home cottage with all amenities you'll ever need. Even provided stairs gates and a high chair upon request. Great location to explore the area and having a pub within 1 minute walk is a bonus!

We had the best stay at this beautiful home! Amber was a great host and went above and beyond for us. The trampoline in the garden was a great extra we weren’t expecting and the kids loved the playroom too. The location is a bit out the way so need to drive to shops 10/15 mins but the village is beautiful and really couldn’t fault it. Would return & definitely recommend. Thanks again x

Just finished a lovely couple of days stay with our two teen girls and dogs. Well fitted out and very clean cabin with comfy beds and linen. Great space to relax and unwind with fab restaurants and shops within the Marina. Rob is a great host providing loads of info plus additionally going above and beyond when our car had a fault guiding us to a garage locally who fixed the problem the next day! We’ll be back!

A beautiful cottage, with a charming layout, making the most of the fantastic views. We could have sat watching the views for hours and were only sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the terrace! It was well appointed and felt very homely. We loved how convenient it was for walking into Matlock Bath (only 5 minutes) with its fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, amusements and lovely riverside walk and 2 play parks. What a great location for us as a family and it was very handy to be able to leave the car at the house and walk to the cable cars for the Heights of Abraham. We appreciated the milk and tin of chocolate biscuits. One tip for anyone who visits is to park at the top of the house, and not take the car around to the front of the house to save having to reverse up the steep hill as the road at the bottom has now been cordoned off. 1st class communication and welcome from our hosts. One minor hiccup was solved quickly and completely. Loved the hot tub and walk-in shower. We also appreciated the welcome pack and gift 🥰

We just visited and had the most brilliant time, the Airbnb was a walk from the Lincoln Centre and upon arrival we were greeted by great hosts who gave us a tour of the property and a few excellent recommendations. The property was perfect for the two of us and squeaky clean! The hot tub was great and very easy to use, we even were able to order takeaway to the cottage despite its quiet and obscure location. The bottle of bubbly left in the fridge for us was a perfect addition to the stay. For any cat lovers special mention for the two propriety cats who we absolutely adored! We would not hesitate to return one day in the future and will be sure to recommend to our friends and family for their own visits.
