Cottage - The Getaway

<p> It is our pleasure to introduce our newest and most southern accommodation at Slope Point, This holiday house features 3 bedrooms, one bathroom with an open plan living area. Ideal for families, small groups or a couple just wanting to relax and getaway. Totality surrounded by farm land, relax and enjoy country living. Television, fireplace, free wifi (basic needs only please) and fantastic views.  Washing machine and dryer if needed. cloths rack and outdoors line provided.   In Addition, we have a caravan point availalbe at the cottage for groupls.  please email direct for this option</p> <p> The cottage is located at 207 Slope Point Road.  Our recepton is at 164 Slope Point Road and main accommodation site. </p> <p> Currently we are experiancing technical difficulties which should be resolved in the near future. Currently the price of the cottage is charged out at one flat rate for everyone.  if there is more than 3 in the house, you may be asked to pay a small charge on arrival until this issue is sorted.  I apologise for this problem, it is out of the owners and airbnb control.  All enquires welcome.  Hopefully this is sorted soon. thanks for your time. </p>

Shipping Container Cabin by the Clutha

Stay in a unique cabin built from two shipping containers! Where 'Industrial style' meets 'Country!' Spend a night relaxing at Ormaglade Cabins! Modern, warm & cosy with a relaxed feel. Unwind and enjoy the night sky! Everything you need and nothing you don't! Bring a friend & take a break, chill on the deck, by the fire or take a walk in the countryside along the Clutha Gold Trail. NB: We have a 2nd cabin onsite sleeps 5, good for 2 groups. See photo. We are open to short term winter stays.

Gypsy Wagon, Curio Bay, Catlins.

Fully self contained gypsy wagon located close to beach of Porpoise Bay. No ocean views but beach is 2min walk. Super king size plush $3000 mattress. Very tidy inside. Cooking facilities with microwave & fridge. Log burner with wood supplied. BBQ area. Linen/towels included. This accommodation is located on our property beside our house. The toilet/shower room (converted water tank) is located 9 meters away from the gypsy, a short walk across the grass lawn. Our gypsy wagon can sleep 2 adults

Beach Feet Retreat, Kaka Point, Catlins Coast

Stunning sea side location of this beautiful new spacious beach house will provide a peaceful and quiet place to relax and enjoy the pristine Catlins Coast. Kaka points safe, lifeguard patrolled beach (summer) is across the road. House is located only 200m from the Point Cafe/store/bar and local play ground. Explore Nugget Pt and enjoy spotting the spectacular sea lions basking on the rocks. Hide away to watch the yellow eyed penguins arrive at Roaring bay. Local bush walks within 1 km.

Tram Track Retreat Cabin

Get away from the hustle and bustle at the tranquil Tram Track Retreat nestled in the heart of the Catlins, one of the most scenic areas of New Zealand. Stroll in native bush along the old tram-tracks or along the beaches around Papatowai. Or find the old tram tracks in the native bush behind the cabin which lead towards the town. Complete with views of the native forest and farm animals; you'll be able to relax and unwind with a glass of wine or a good book in the private court yard.

Catlins Estuary View

A warm & cosy 3 bedroom house perfect for your Catlins adventures. Sit out on one of the two decks and enjoy a glass of wine taking in the stunning view down the Catlins estuary and out to Owaka heads. Drive times to local attractions: Jacks Bay Blowhole - 10mins Surat beach - 5mins Owaka -3mins Pounawea - 5mins Nuggets Point Lighthouse - 30mins Purakanui falls - 15mins Papatowai Lost Gypsy - 30mins My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups.

The Studio at No 9.

This peaceful, hill top, studio room is just a 10 minute amble to the town’s parks, gardens, cafes, shops and restaurants. Wifi, TV, microwave and small refrigerator, kettle and toaster with basic kitchen cutlery and crockery, teas and coffees supplied. Brand new bathroom. Private entry and driveway with undercover parking. The decor is eclectic and there are two outdoor seating options. The garden is shared. Guest access by key lock. Check in from 3pm and check out by noon.

Sea Breeze Cottage - Family Fun Close to the Beach

This family friendly home sits at the end of a quiet cul de sac. Its an easy 2 minute stroll to the beach, playgrounds, restaurant and bar. This kiwi style bach has a sleepout cabin, and will provide hours of fun for all the family. Spacious lounge with a full kitchen is one of the features of this warm comfortable home. Private fully-fenced section, with plenty of off street parking for the cars or boat. Relax on the deck with a drink, listening to sound of the waves.

Hillside Retreat & Woodstoked Hot Tub

This unique place has a style all its own. Come and enjoy some peace and quiet admiring the outstanding views of Mount Benger in your own wood stoked stainless steel hot tub. The hot tub will be filled with fresh water and heated on request. There are several outstanding cafes locally along with the beautiful Clutha Gold Cycle trail. The Millers Flat Tavern is open for meals Pinders Pond is a local swimming attraction. Highland Bike hire in Roxburgh has ebikes for hire.

Kaka Point Retreat

Sit back and relax as the native bush and birds entertain you while you enjoy listening to the waves and looking out at the nuggets and the lighthouse. This 2 bedroom crib sleeps up to 4 people, is warm and cozy and has everything you need for a family holiday or a weekend getaway. It is fully furnished, and is situated in a nice sunny spot out of the easterly breeze. It is only a few minutes walk to to the Point Cafe & Bar and the local beach.
