This entire house with private, dedicated access allows you to come and go easily. We provide luxury linens, a sparkling clean house and all the amenities of home. We're located steps from the popular restaurants and shopping of South Congress! Please note: you must climb a spiral staircase to get to the guest house. The second bed is in a loft accessible with a ladder. You need solid mobility. This guest house was completed in 2019 and is perched above a spiral staircase to get to the main floor. You will also need to climb a loft ladder to utilize the second queen bed in the loft so we do want to make sure you're aware and comfortable doing so. The house has tons of natural light, high end furnishings and 20 foot vaulted ceilings! It was designed and built for guests to have all the amenities like luxurious bedding and fixtures right in the heart of classics like Guero's, The Continental Club, Hopdoddy's, Home Slice and more! The dedicated outdoor porch lets you start your day with a coffee from the in-unit Nespresso or Mañana, the coffee shop right next door. You can enjoy live music during the weekends at multiple spots nearby! You'll have access to the entire guest suite and dedicated porch with outdoor seating. This is a completely separate guest house and so you have fully private and separate entrance. Aside from normal workdays we're often available in person but we are always just a text or message away! Come and go easily with private access to this inviting Travis Heights guesthouse. The lively South Congress commercial area, the Rainey Street Historic District, quiet tree-lined streets great for walking, and the downtown area are all just minutes away. The dedicated outdoor porch lets you start your day with a coffee from the in-unit N-espresso or Manana, the coffee shop right next door. You can enjoy live music at the weekend at multiple spots nearby and lovely local shopping! Uber and Lyft are staples of transportation in Austin as well as scooters and bikes that you can pick up on the sidewalk. We are on an express bus line as well that can take you near and far. You're in the heart of it all and it's easy to get around. We also offer 1 on-site parking space if you choose to rent or drive in your own car. The hotel next door is a popular venue for events that take place often on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This means there could be loud, live music for weddings and events. It ends by 11 pm on the weekends but be aware if you'd be disturbed by it. We love the energy it brings but it's not for everyone.

Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. The carriage house has been professionally cleaned using CDC recommended guidelines. The builders of this space spared no expense on the details and finishes of this property. It is exquisite! The private entrance makes it feel like your own slice of Austin. Speaking of slices: check out East Side Pies for pizza nearby and The Wheel, Whislers, or Kitty Cohen’s for a cocktail! The Mueller development is 2 miles away where the H-E-B grocery store is located if you’re looking to cook your own meals in the kitchen. Guest access is through the right-side fence gate while facing the main house on property from the street. Access codes will be provided upon booking. The carriage house includes a balcony patio that guests may use. We’re available when you need us and you can also have all the privacy you like. We’ll gladly give you suggestions of things to see and do in Austin. The home is set in the East Austin neighborhood of Chestnut and a short drive away from vibrant eateries, BBQ joints, brewpubs, and parks. The University of Texas is nearby and Downtown’s iconic music venues and nightlife are minutes away by car. The MLK, Jr. Red Line light rail station is a short 8min walk from the unit and can be used to get into downtown or to AustinFC soccer games! Uber or Lyft are recommended to get around Austin. You can usually find one of the scooters 🛴 down the street near MLK Blvd as well. If you have a personal vehicle or rental car you may use street parking in front of the main home. For less than $10 you could catch an Uber into the city and experience The Alamo, Tower of the Americas, River walk, Alamodome, Convention Center, Tobin Center. There are plenty of scooters available to get around downtown if you want to get to know the city better. Access to the apartment is directly from the private parking/backyard. The apartment is located on the second floor. One flight of stairs up. No pets allowed. No parties allowed. If you're looking for a place to host a rager, please keep looking. City of SA Hotel Occupancy TAX (HOT)due in CASH at Check-in The City of SA recently enacted a HOT of 10% to Airbnb guests of the total of the reservation, the same TAX paid at hotels. My place is clean, modern, private, light and furnished with attention to detail and design. It's close to Barton Springs & Zilker Park, ABGB, Soup Peddler - Real Food & Juice Bar, Gourdough's, Papalote, Phoenicia, Broken Spoke, Torchy's, Red's Porch, Kerbey Lane, Matt's El Rancho, Patika Cafe, Bouldin Creek Cafe, Wheatsville, Maria's. You’ll love the views into the trees, the location, the ambiance, the quiet near the action. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (but not child-proof). The kitchen opens into the dining area and living room, and there are two separate bedrooms. The interior space is 750 sf, and the back deck is roughly 280 sf. The large sliding glass doors in both the living room and one of the bedrooms lend an indoor-outdoor living atmosphere, adding space and the feeling of being up in the trees. My place is the back unit in a duplex. It's very private and quiet, set off from the street. I'm easy to reach via Airbnb messaging, email or phone, happy to offer local tips. And of course I'm available should anything come up during your stay, as is the housekeeper. Listen to the quietness of this green and hilly neighborhood, close to Zilker Park and Barton Springs. Alternatively, head for nearby South Lamar, which is loaded with restaurants, shops, cinemas, and cafes—there's plenty to do right nearby.
