Janine was a very lovely host. Their place is exactly how they described it! Every one in our group enjoyed every bit of our stay in this lovely and serene escape among the treetops in Avoca!🥰

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Berowra Waters Glass House. The property is stunning, nestled right on the water with breathtaking views that made every moment feel like a retreat. From fishing off the deck to kayaking and taking the boat out, there was never a dull moment- just pure relaxation and adventure in equal measure. George was fantastic and was prompt with communicating with us from early stages of the booking process. What truly set our stay apart was Patrick, the wonderful property manager. His warm welcome and wealth of local knowledge made our trip even more special. He had fantastic recommendations for things to do, and his friendly nature added to the overall experience. If you're looking for a unique escape surrounded by natural beauty, with great activities right at your doorstep, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Our party of 5 including grandparents and 2 yr old son had a lovely stay at Michelle's. we stayed for 4 nights and spent the mornings at the beach which is just around the corner and lazy afternoons in the pool. The garden and house are well maintained and very cosy for a family trip away. I'd recommend stocking up on food as there are currently no shops/cafes at Pearl beach, but it was handy having a coffee cart turn up next door in the mornings. Even though there is construction building next door, my 2 year old son loved watching the machines and was disappointed when they weren't working on the weekend！Thanks again for sharing your home with us Michelle, we will be back！

Wonderful location and comfortable stay.

My partner and I, and our 3 kids (between 5 and 8) had a great time! The house has a hot-water outdoor shower to get properly clean after a day at the beach. You can watch the beautiful sunrise across the ocean from the large living room windows. The kitchen has PLENTY of cooking utensils and crockery. TV has all the apps. The ping pong table downstairs was also worth it. It's useful to know that three of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs, and one queen bedroom is upstairs where the rest of the action is. The front balcony is nice and spacious, and the deck out to the back is HUGE! The location is extremely quiet, you can hear the waves on the beach. It takes about 3-5 minutes walk to get to the beach, it's very, very close.

A wonderful stay in a great big house with plenty of space and things to do. The host was very amenable and helpful and we had a wonderful time. Rooms were comfortable and the big loft space with lots of beds would suit a group with lots of older children, to have a big sleepover of sorts. Well fenced and set up for dogs too, with plenty of parks and dog friendly beaches nearby. Kitchen and cooking facilities had everything you need to actually cook, even for the larger groups that could fit in such a big house.

The house is in a great position at lake Macquarie with lots of fun to offer. The house and each bedroom were delightfully decorated to add enjoyment to the stay. It’s a wonderful experience we have had. On the down side I would say if beds could be more comfy with better mattress that would be good. Will appreciate if have more floor towels or mop since floor is wet with lots of water activities expected. Shame we have no bbq we could use but we understand the reason. The main couch is a big old and smelly otherwise the home and stay have been perfect.

Excellent location in Patonga with beautiful views from the terrace. Ross was very helpful and responsive. Direct walk down to the beach via the stairs at the side of the property, which was great. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an escape to the coast. We'd happily return :)

My daughter and I spent a very relaxing weekend break at North Avoca Beach. It was so nice to wake up to the sound of the surf and stroll on the sand. As it’s not a patrolled beach is much quieter than Avoca main beach. The compact size was just right for us.There were lots of kids things around, if you have children they would enjoy those.We would recommend the house for a couples weekend.

Perfect location above the water in Brooklyn a stone’s throw from the ferry, water taxi and train station. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need, we lit the fire on the last night (July) while we played giant jenga, and it works beautifully, and was easy to clean in the morning. The cafe below served very good coffee, the staff both at the cafe and in the convenience store are all brilliant and friendly. The nearby pub has a wonderful covered outdoor area and also serves incredible pizzas. The local walk to the lookout and Parsley Bay was perfect after breakfast, and Dangar Island has captured my heart big time. Future guests: I’d advise you to bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper to assist with the trains at night. Also pack your own loo roll if staying a while as it’s wafer thin one ply. Some areas of the apartment are getting tired: broken kitchen drawers, wobbly dining chairs, but the view makes up for all that, a delightful stay was had and I’d still come back.

It's a beautiful studio apartment in a lovely area. A friendly kookaburra hung around the deck, though I wasnt so impressed when it tried to steal my shoe 😂 Be careful what you leave out on the deck. We enjoyed our stay here with everything we needed for a little get away.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Anna’s place! The apartment was spacious and clean, and in a great location close to beaches, bush walking trails and shops. We especially loved the balcony and living room spaces - they were comfortable and allowed us to take in the wonderful surrounds of Kincumber. Thanks Anna!

Perfect hub for a mid week getaway to nature and the coast. Loved its proximity to the National Parks, hiking paths and coast line. Drivable to favourite coast lines such as Avoca, Pretty Beach, Umina, Copacabana and Ettalong. Clean and safe space that allowed the relaxation of the day to sweep into the nights. Loved this space and its proximity to cafes and entertainment. Totally recommend.

It was such a pleasure to stay at Bryan’s villa, we get to enjoy the sunbath each day at the private beach, the water is extremely clear and beautiful. Water taxi just one call away very convenient if we need groceries. The villa is clean with all basic supplies we needed. We had an amazing chillax stay to cleanse our year end stress. Bryan is very responsive and had kindly provided very detailed information to help our check in and stay much smoother, a lot less stressful!

My family had a great weekend at the property. It is located within minutes to beaches and shops. I'd recommend this property to any one need more rooms.

This place is magical. We returned a second year in a row and this time was even better. If you want to get off the grid and forget Covid, masks and all the stresses of life, the Villa doesn’t disappoint!

We had such a great stay! The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to the beach and you can watch sunrise over the ocean in bed :) The house was so comfortable and stylish, lots of art deco character. We would 100% stay again!

What a beautiful, peaceful place that had all the necessary amenities a 2 min walk from the spectacular pearl beach. It was perfect & Carla and Chloe were great hosts and were very generous to give us a late check out on Sunday. The spa is pretty special although a bit finicky if you don’t know how to use it - thankfully our hosts were very responsive in helping with this. My only note is to maybe make sure if you need more linen/towels than what they provide for the 4 doubles and one single bed (9 people). We booked the house for 11 (there is a room with fold out couches) but those 2 guests didn’t get towels or linen. Final thing is the property has close neighbours so there are a lot of rules to do with noise etc. This makes sense as I assume the hosts have been burned before and must protect their relationship with the local community but if you want somewhere you can feel free to sing your heart out around the fire pit until the wee hours go elsewhere. We stayed at Nicola’s place for five nights and we had the best time. The area is so peaceful and beautiful and it was the absolute best kitted out Airbnb. Everything we could have wanted was provided. We made use of all the beach gear everyday - snorkels, paddle boards, fishing rods you name it! It was also easy to feed 9 of us as the kitchen and bbq area was so well set up. It was also terrific for the kids as there were so many games and activities for them to do thanks to Nicole and David. We will definitely be back and recommending this gem to our friends and family.

Our stay was wonderful! The place had everything we needed – well-equipped with everyday essentials and a beautiful, pleasant scent throughout. The two dishwashers and large double door fridge were perfect for our large group. We also loved how close it was to the beach, just a short walk away. We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
