Handcrafted Cabin in the Vines

This beautiful little cabin nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley Vineyards was built by a master Austrian craftsman. Featuring modern design touches and beautiful timber finishes this stylish, classy getaway is private and serene with views over vineyards to the Broken Back Ranges. We are a fully operating farm so that might mean late night harvesting and an operating cellar door over the weekends. The Cabin is only a few minutes drive to all major wineries, concert venues and restaurants.

Private cottage with 13 foot ceiling and polished floor boards kept in original state. The host is lodged at the back of the property - separate from your section of the house. The cottage is private and one level with no stairs - ideal for older folks and families with babies. It has 2 bedrooms, one with Queen bed & the other Double bed and King Single. It is conveniently situated for a self-guided tour of the Hunter Valley vineyards including Pokolbin, Wollombi and Broke, or a comfortable stopover on your way north or south. It is located at the base of the Watagan Mountains, with easy access for bush walking, picnics or 4WDing. The Vineyards are 30 minutes drive away, Newcastle and beaches are 45 minutes drive and Port Stephens 1 hour.

The Cottage - Berry House

Nestled among heritage gardens on 5 acres near Morpeth in the Hunter Valley, this gorgeous cottage is part of the Berry House Estate built in 1857. Cosy up, unwind or explore the broader Hunter Valley. The self contained cottage (converted servants quarters), is your own little oasis within the broader grounds of Berry House. Use the pool, sauna, explore the gardens, collect farm fresh eggs, feed the chickens & sheep or just chill. Delightful spot for kids. Dogs welcome on request.
